Hotel Rio Piedra — Hotel in Cuenca

The location right in the heart of Cuenca is amazing- only a couple of blocks from the main plaza and near a good many resaurants and all the interesting site. ||The hotel was one of the nicer ones we stayed in having mostly stayed in hostels up to this point.||The rooms were very comfy and spacious, although the WIFI barely reached the room.||The bathroom and showers were lovely although we only recieved one towel even though there were 2 people staying in the room (our spanish was very poor and certainly not good enough to ask for another). ||The staff spoke very little English something we hadn't encountered before but there were very little problems and it is really our fault for not speaking spanish that hindered the communication. ||For the price of the room, overall it was average, but then again we had been staying in hostels.
