I am unsatisfied regarding the refund and email you sent me earlier. This was much more than issues with the air conditioner and the television. I have tried communicating other issues. And the way the hotel tried to resolve them was no help. The issue with the air conditioner was for my fiancés parents who are elderly and sick at the time of this incident. It was also when they were getting ready for bed. They sent someone to the room to look at the air conditioner and they simply reset it to get it to come on instead of moving them to another room that night. Of course because all they did was restart the system it failed again within the hour while they were sleeping leaving them in discomfort all night. Also on the booking website it states that these hotel rooms are sound proof (which I have screenshots of)when indeed they were not I could hear the sliding of furniture above our room and hear the people talking in the rooms beside us. You can also hear the loud music and traffic from outside late in the night making it hard to sleep at times. The manager offers to switch rooms but every room is almost identical and was of no help. Moving on to the food it was mediocre. The portions were small for the price and the food did not taste well. The food we had on the street tasted better than anything we had out of the hotels kitchen. The breakfast we received was of small variety and reheated from the day before. The pancakes and waffles were cold and seemed to be freezer food quality. It felt more like a holiday inn for twice the price. The manager never sent me any refund like he said he would. This was definitely not pleasant as some I found on myself while working at the desk in the room.
