Read moreMalecon 2000 is an absolute must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Guayaquil. This stunning waterfront promenade offers breathtaking views of the Guayas River, and is a hub of activity and entertainment.
As soon as I arrived at Malecon 2000, I was struck by the beauty of the surroundings. The river, the lush greenery, and the colorful buildings all combined to create a truly magical atmosphere.
I particularly enjoyed the wide range of activities available at Malecon 2000. From shopping and dining to art galleries and museums, there's something for everyone here. The Ferris wheel was a particular highlight, as it offered an unbeatable view of the entire city and the river below.
One of the things I appreciated most about Malecon 2000 was the attention to detail in the design and construction of the space. The use of local materials and the incorporation of traditional Ecuadorian elements helped to create a unique and authentic atmosphere that truly sets Malecon 2000 apart.
Overall, I would recommend a visit to Malecon 2000 to anyone visiting Guayaquil. Whether you're looking for a day of relaxation or a night of entertainment, this promenade has everything you need to make your trip...

The shoreline does not lack of vibe at the end of 2022 when i was visiting it. Many groups of people either dance or exercise from early morning. In late afternoon, the local business booths open up with all kinds of gifts, crafts and snacks. This is not a purely tourist site either, many many local people walking around to enjoy the riverview.
I give it a four star since it might not be super interesting for people who are seeking for natural or real old history sightings. But it is worth a stroll in a...
