It was ok. The room had a balcony but it was dirty and had a piece of metal in the middle. We had to make more than a couple call to the reception for hot water and even though we left the water running to see if it could warms up, it didn’t work. A couple times we actually took a shower in cold water. The stairs doesn’t seem safe. Anyway the price was convenient. Also we had to wait for the receptionist to show up because there wasn’t anyone there-usually.

Superd location, closed to restaurants, shops, travel agents. Staff can spread Spanish only but is friendly. Room is clean although the facilities are basic. Wifi is only available in the reception area. I like the superd location where I can get foods, arranging tours and other things easily.

Location is very good. Close to port, restaurants and shops. The room had good a/c and comfortable bed. TV did not work but that was ok with us. The hotel itself was fine as a 2.5 star rating hotel. The room was spacious and bright, the bathroom was dark and in need of TLC.. The most difficult issue was our room and the hallways were covered with little wall lizards. That made it difficult to sleep expecting them to drop on your head. I love the little creatures, but not in my bed! The front desk management was quiet poor except for the one young man who tried to help get the lizards out of the room). The general manager was very rude and sour when you asked for anything. No late checkout allowed. Courtesy bathroom offered was disgusting and unusable, not even for a quick pee!! Super dirty and filled with mosquitos and bugs. Tried to be fair and balanced to the establishment in this review, but we would not stay here again. Lots of better places to choose from for same...

Not a word of English is understood by any staff including owner(?)/manager. Although my room was clean and comfortable and the location is great, communication without Spanish was impossible., resulting in miscommunication time and again. After the first night, I tried to tell the manager that I could only stay part of the five pre-booked nights. I felt very isolated (I'm a world traveler!) and I had severely bruised my knee on a high, slick tile step. When my family tried to locate me in my room, they were wrongly informed that I was out...no one tried to telephone the room. I was furious as wi-fi was down, and I didn't know they were trying to contact me. My Spanish speaking friend negotiated at $25 reduction for the last night but, in my opinion, that was...
