It's not a bad hotel, it's a cheap hotel.
When we were there, we were the only tourists, so I think this place is made for the locals.
The rooms are not neceserally bad, they are big, have enough place to put our stuff, we had fridge and a balcony, and that was the cheapest room. The problem was the bathroom. We couldn't shower without everything getting wet. I know before we get there that many hotels don't have toilet paper, neither this hotel. We had another problem with our room, but it was not the hotel fault, we couldn't turn of the light. They later fixed it, something was wrong with electrical system.
The price included breakfast which was pretty okay, but they had the same breakfast every single time.
The location was actually pretty good. If you know cairo, you know that there is no "good" part of Cairo where everything is clean and organized. But the hotel is located in the middle of Cairo, close to a lot of sight as well. There is a pharmacy in the same street.
What you should bring to this hotel: -Toiler paper -Water (tap water is not safe like in the rest of...
Read moreWe could not find it right away cause it is on a pedestrian way and in the corner, we had to ask somebody, but it was great to be where cars could not reach. So make sure you buy a sim card with calls when you get there (really cheap) cause you might have to call them. It was silent, Breakfast was good, bread, cheese, ham, jam, egg and this yogurt that i loved all over Egypt with green and red pepper! So god! the staff is just amazing! They helped us one day before visiting the pyramids. They offered us a very nice guide that could speak Spanish and a taxi for 60usd a day, which was fair enough. The room is spacious and the bed is really confy. Don't expect luxury, but for a couple on their 30's travelling the world it suited us just perfectly! Thank you for everything, we would stay again and...
Read moreSpent nice time at this amazing property and highly recommend! Location is in walking distance to all major sights: 5 min walk to River Nile, 10 min walk to museum , 20 min walk to Khan khalili . Entrance to the hotel is set back from the main street which provides a sense of calm and quiet after a full day of sightseeing . Size of room was perfect with a super comfy bed and bathroom in the corner of the room with funky lighting. Bathroom included great toiletries and a great shower stall with rain shower head. Small fridge was a great addition in the room. No issues connecting to the free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was charming - just enough to provide a great start to your morning. The free Hi tea time was a nice start to the evening...
