Albatros Alf Leila Wa Leila Hotel Hurghada — Hotel in Red Sea

WE LOVE IT HERE at "Alf Leila Wa Leila" !! The staff is SOOOOO LOVELY, I love them ! They speak to you so kindly and gently, I just wanna take them home !

Pluses:

The 2 heated pools, I love it cuz I love swimming.

The staff is SO FRIENDLY, they're LOVELY !! I love speaking to them, ask them about their personal life, talk like humans to eachother, that's a BIG part of what holiday means to me, getting to know THE PEOPLE of that country. No stones or monuments you visit will ever replace getting to know THE LOCALS. And you know what touched me especially ? I noticed that seeing us happy made staff members instantly happy, THEY WERE HAPPY CUZ WE WERE HAPPY , that was so touching to see, THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS, guys !!

The resort is VERY CLEAN, staff works VERY HARD and around the clock to keep it clean, THANK YOU SO MUCH, guys, I've been a Cleaner on cruise ships so I know how it is.

Some of the food is PERFECT !! :D , for example the cakes :) However there are also dishes which taste rather bland, not enough spice in them. Someone told me they use little spice deliberately cuz when they used much, they had complaints. I understand, it's very difficult satisfying everyone. I've sent them an email asking them to please provide 2 or 3 more spiced dishes every meal.

The general architecture is lovely, also some of the furniture pieces. Very good WiFi in our room for free ! And generally decent WiFi inside the resort, also for free.

Minuses: I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MINUSES ANYMORE, I SIMPLY LOVE IT HERE :)

But only for info, the minuses: At night there's workers just outside our rooms producing noise as if we were on a construction site.. Guys, we're trying to sleep... Our room (in room block 500) is not in its first youth anymore, definitely needs refurbishing/renovating. The "supposed-to-be-white" hand towels we found when checking-in looked dirty and worn. If you can't make it white discard it, don't give it to the customers !!! The only thing I could do with them was throw them on the floor, no sane person would put that on his face.. During the rest of our stay towels got whiter 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

But all in all I LOVE IT HERE AND I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK HERE !!! :D :D We want to come back (same...

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was beautiful, well-maintained, and had a truly welcoming atmosphere.

The food was excellent – plenty of variety every day and something to suit all tastes.

Whether you’re a picky eater or love trying new dishes, you’ll be impressed by the range and quality on offer. The Chinese restaurant was absolutely amazing – one of the best meals we had during our stay and definitely worth the visit.

We also loved Rockin’ Burgers, which quickly became a family favorite. A huge thank you as well to Abd ElRahem in the main restaurant, who made every mealtime feel special with his friendly and thoughtful service.

The animation team was fantastic – super friendly, full of energy, and always had something fun going on for the kids. There was never a dull moment, and the little ones were constantly entertained. The room was a little on the small side, but it was clean, comfortable, and we managed just fine. A big thank you to Ibrahim Hassan, the cleaner for room 5578 – he kept our room spotless and was always so cheerful and polite.

The slides were fantastic, and a real highlight for the whole family! The shuttle bus to the beach and the Blue Neverland bus around the site were great additions and made getting around really easy and stress-free.

The waiters around the main pool were fantastic – so friendly and attentive. We didn’t get their names, but they definitely added to the experience with their great service and warm smiles. There were also plenty of lifeguards around the pools – always watching carefully, and incredibly helpful when it came to finding extra sunbeds, setting up umbrellas, and always being polite and professional.

A special mention to Valery from reception, who was so helpful in assisting us with mosquito spray and plug-ins for our room – much appreciated! Honestly, all of the staff go above and beyond. Every single one of them was amazing, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.

We will definitely be back...

Really great place to come to as a family, especially as a first visit to egypt and first holiday in years. Everyone here is so friendly, the staff are so helpful and happy. We got upgraded right from the check in (we upgraded to the family room when booking but this room(s) is more like an apartment!)

So many pools to choose from (do wish people wouldnt reserve beds then go off for hours leaving them unused. Hotel says thats not allowed but people seem to do it anyway.)

The food is great, standard buffet style but plenty of choice. 'Chinese' was more asian... sushi rolls or chicken tikka but still delicious. Italian was spot on... pizza and pasta. The BBQ/grill going every night is perfect.

The beach is a 15min bus ride, very hot. An upgrade to the bus is well overdue but the driver is great fun all the same.

First day saw a lot of people coming with their sales books for excursions/massages... i find that quite annoying, you want to relax, they want to make a sale... theyre friendly enough but persistent. We ended up booking 2 and go today so will be leaving another review about that later!

All in all, i cant recommend this place enough... there are a few bits as above i would change for personal preference (especially our neighbours who complained because our door alarm kept going off on first night and we werent sure how it worked - reception fixed it for us, alarm, not neighbours... they were still rude and unneccessarily angry) but none of that brings my opinion down of the resort overall. LOVE!

Update on first excursion; VIP quad bike/jeep/camel/food... The ride was fun but it wasnt worth the money paid, looked nothing like advertised on brochure and the safety wasnt a priority. At 140euros for 3px. Check badawya safari for further reviews before deciding for yourself.

Update on 2nd excursion; sinbad submarine... AMAZING. Well worth doing. Boat trip and sub in one, 3 or 4 hours, really...
