Aparthotel Adagio La Défense Esplanade — Hotel in Arrondissement of Nanterre

English and Francais below: Bad Service. Especially for long term guest if you are staying over weekends and want to use the facilities claimed in the website - Washer /Dryer. Washer and Dryer is broken for 3 weeks and the management has not taken any action. I have reported at the reception 6 times so far , every time the receptionist repeats the 3 things but no action has been taken

1. We called the technician and he is not coming
2. I'm new and dont know what to do
3. Manager is not vacation

For a hotel with 200+ room, they have just 1 washer /dryer and they reply on '1' technician in the whole city to fix it. The reception doesnt take any responsibility. I see families with kids and solo travelers staying over the weekends struggling to get the wash service done , but the management does not care.

I arrived at the hotel with my family. There was no crib for my baby in the room as requested in my booking. We waited an hour for it to arrive. As nothing came, I went to reception and then had to go to floor 8 store room with the receptionist to collect one. On arriving at the store room he had forgot his access key and went back to floor 2 to collect. Whilst waiting the fire alarm goes off with my wife and baby in the room on floor 4. I sprint down the fire escape stairs to rescue them and our essential belongings to report outside to the muster point. There were numerous fire crews attending fires in the building that were filling the hotel with the smell and fumes of smoke. The receptionist never evacuated despite the alarms. Due to the presence of the smoke throughout the hotel, I was not going to risk my baby or families safety by staying in the hotel. We had to pay for 2 nights in another more expensive (due to very last minute availability) hotel a short but safe distance away. The response by the hotel staff to guest safety was appalling and I would seriously not recommend staying at this hotel or hotel group in the future if the attitude to safety is consistent with this one. The receptionist promised me a full refund within a few days of returning back to the UK and a week on from returning home I have received no contact or refund despite contacting the hotel via email as no one answers the hotel phone number. The hotel itself had a lot of potential, unfortunately we encountered several small problematics that impacted the quality of our stay. First of all, the reception was extremely welcoming but when it came to conversate about problematics with the room rather than booking information, the language barrier was great. Neither I nor my friends speak french but the reception could hardly communicate in English. Unfortunately one of the elevators was stuck at the 7th floor for the entirety of our stay and a lot of people needed to make use of it, so the wait would often be long (around 5-10 mins). I had booked a room for three but at my arrival it had only been prepared for two, one the beds was undone and when we asked the reception about it, they didn’t give us a bedding set, just one single sheet. The room was quite worn, with several scratches and holes, both on the furniture and the walls. At last, during our last day, the checkout was planned at 11 am but the cleaning services barged into the room at 9.30am demanding to clean it. It’s a shame because the hotel had a lot of potential being one of the highest rated aparthotel chains worldwide, and also the tangible language barrier did not favour communication between...
