Terrible Terrible Terrible... don’t waste your money on this miniature size shady hotel; don’t risk staying there especially with kids. Omar- the guy on reception should be fired. He doesn’t know how to talk to customers and doesn’t understand customer service. The moment we entered the hotel and mentioned that we booked from hotels.com, he asked us to buy another room for 2 adults and 2 kids or we can’t stay there. He refused to look at our booking receipt and started yelling at us. He refused to tell his name initially and said we can’t talk to the manager. And he’s only person we found there.||Hearing him yell at top of his voice my 5 year old got scared and started crying. We told him we’re going to call the police as his behaviour made us feel unsafe. Right after we mentioned about calling police, he started looking at our receipt and gave us the room as per hotels.com receipt without additional charge. We calmed down the kids and went to the 1st floor; to our amusement, it was completely dark there with no lights at all. We rushed right back to the reception and changed the hotel. There was one other lady we found there who mentioned that You have to go and find lights yourself to turn them on.||There’s no staff onsite except for that nice lady who was cleaning there and this stupid, grumpy reception guy.||It felt very unsafe especially for family with kids. I didn’t see any family coming in or out of elevator while we were on the phone with hotels.com for almond 3 hours.||||I’m glad we moved to Best Western hotel nearby by paying a little more money and were welcomed...
Read moreNot the kind of hotel I expected. Rooms are extremely small it's very hard to move around. Very small toilet hard to take shower properly I am only 5ft 4 and medium built. Air con doesn't work it's very hot in summer. Stairs are tiny and dark feels really uncomfortable. Only four person can fit on a lift it's so small and it's the only lift. Breakfast is the worse offer from this hotel croissants are cold and not much variety to choose from. I had to eat outside. As is the case with this hotel breakfast room is extremely small and is situated in basement next to storeroom which is disgusting. Room is so small only 5-8 can eat at a time and everyone is just squashed close to each other. They only got one coffee machine, you need to be in the que for coffee. No restaurants in the hotel so you can't order lunch or dinner. Staffs are decent but not trained to look after customers they might on their mobile while you waiting there asking for suggestion. The only benefit I found was it's very close to metro station and local attractions and the area is quite nice and safe. This is more like a place where you want to crash for the night but not ideal for holiday. I will never book holidays from groupon, I don't trust them anymore. This hotel should not have any star I wonder who rated...
Read moreMy girlfriend & I decided to spend a night in this hotel which in terms of location was perfect for an event we signed up for. Our description of our stay is the following:||- Bad service: We had an issue concerning breakfast since we booked it through booking.com and the woman in reception basically started getting nervous due to the fact that we were not coming to an agreement and decided to raise her voice and even scream at us. A few hours later we came by again to discuss the matter and nothing turned out to be solved anyways even though we showed them the receipt of our payment.||- Room: Small, shower water was at lowest pressure and no barely could find any plugs for our phones and/or computers. Best thing was the red led light in the bathroom!||- Location: If you come and visit a friend who lives around the neighborhood or to attend to an event like we did, definitely recommend to look for a hotel around this area. If not any of the above situations, you are way too far from central Paris.||||This is all! To conclude, our daily experience was incredible since the city of Paris is exceptional. Too bad...
