Our stay with Eduard and David at Clos 1906 was superb in every way possible. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and luxuriously designed and the whole place is beautiful and peaceful with everything you could possibly need and more. The design is impeccable and thoughtful. |It is an easy walk to the town of Saint Emilion, and situated within the beautiful and unbelievably picturesque surrounding landscape. We were originally booked for 3 days but extended it to 7 days because we loved the experience and surroundings so much. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely be back!|Their hospitality was amazing and they were both incredibly helpful with suggestions for where to visit and where to dine. We've just returned home from a 3 night stay at Clos 1906, in their Clos 1906 suite, and I want to go back! Such a lovely B&B Villa in an historical clos, surrounded by the unique beauty of Saint Emilion, Bordeaux, her Chateau, vineyards and the most relaxing atmosphere. While there we visited a different Chateau or Clos winery each day via private tour. Eduard was very helpful in organizing transportation to and from, and our roundtrip airport transfer. He assisted us with genuine kindness whenever and for whatever was needed. The breakfast served is rich, healthy, with a diverse selection of locally grown or made products. We found the garden and pool area to be quiet, relaxing, the perfect meditative spot. We enjoyed an entire morning there. The perfect 3 night stay to end off our honeymoon! The entire property has so much charm, very peaceful and quiet, and just a lovely 10min walk to the town centre. The suite is really modern yet cosy, with the most comfortable bed for a good night sleep. Since it’s peak summer, the swimming pool was a great respite from the heat as well! The owner Eduard was very hospitable, and gave great advice on restaurants and wine tours. All of his recommendations are spot on and 10/10! Really loved the small touches, like remembering we like 2 cups of coffee in the morning, and helping us with all the booking arrangements. Would definitely recommend this...
