Château Saint Georges - Côte Pavie — Attraction in Libourne

Unfortunately we didn't came in time for our tour. We tried calling but no one answered. When we arrived we found the doors closed. After waiting for 20 minutes a young guy came with a group of people for a wine tasting. I asked if we could join the group now, just for the tasting, but the guy said absolutely no! The tasting lasted about 15 minutes, then my husband asked if we could have a glass of wine since we had already paid for our tickets (2 tickets for 18€)and we are already here, but the guy again said absolutely no since he didn't have any clean glasses!!! It's a very disappointing experience to go to a winery and be denied a glass of wine. I don't know what...

I recommend that you book your own trip to this vineyard 10 mins walk from at Emilion train station. Very friendly guide. Sorry for got his name. Small vineyard. Famlily home in the chateau. Such a brilliant place! Not only the Chateau is close to St Emilion (15min walking), the place's lovely & the wine brilliant. But the experience was superb: we were lucky to have Matthieu doing the visit for us, and wow he is good! Amazing English, true passion for the place, the wine and his team.
