i was here the other day for part of my vacation to europe, it was fine but heres my honest review it is well cleaned and managed well! but the bathroom smelled funky, there must've been a pipe leak or something because it sort of smelled like sewage. also its very cramped in there. however, it isnt THAT bad. the sink is outside of the bathroom, which apperently is popular there. its a good sink, with a rack on the side if you want to hang laundry. however, if you stay here, i reccomend bringing hand cream or lotion because the soap really dries out your hands . the beds are nice and comfortable though. not too small, but not too big either. there are plenty of charging ports to charge your devices, so do not be worried about that. also, the stairs are a little wacky and uneven, so theyre a little difficult to climb up. but nothing you can't handle. the hotel is in a convenient place if you like to shop & eat out, as there is a shopping court up the street . there is a subway station up the street aswell. plus some little shops and stores within walking distance . overall, not my favorite hotel ive stayed in. however, definitely manageable & not too bad. i'd give it 4 stars and like a 7.5 out of 10 !

An old, tacky hotel with terrible service! I'll leave you some pictures so you can judge for yourself. A two-star hotel with a super-high room rate for what it offers. The building is extremely unsafe, and old. They turn off the heating (-1ºC), and if you ask them to fix the shower (the shabbiest I've ever seen), they don't even bother to fix it. Cobwebs on the ceilings and a pretty dirty carpet. Good location… Multiple things to improve to achieve the 2 stars as good hotel!

Third floor: Small room, dirty, smelly. Towels don't smell clean at all; the bed smells. The building itself is sinking; it is an unsafe structure and should be demolished. Second floor: The maintenance crew is a joke. The towel hook in the bathroom is falling, the toilet seat doesn't stay up, and my favorite: when they removed the ceiling chandelier, instead of putting up a plastic plate, they tape it. See picture. This is a two-star hotel? Really? It's a dumpster.

HORRIBLE! NO AIR CONDITIONING! Jenna at the front desk is a nightmare. I paid for five nights in a room with air conditioning. On my last night, it didn’t work at all. They have NO FRONT DESK STAFF. The 24 hour desk is a lie. They have a kid who comes in and out during the night, but he doesn’t really work for the hotel, and has no power to do any maintenance.

My air conditioner didn’t work, making it impossible to sleep. The night desk guy said he had no tools to fix it. He was TEXTING with Jenna, the real manager, who would NOT answer the phone. She texted him to bring me a FAN. I told him I wanted a refund for this night, as I wouldn’t be able to sleep in a hot room. He said Jenna would do it in the morning. I asked him to email me a record of our conversation, and he said he didn’t have access to the hotel email (because he’s not really an employee). So he assured me that Jenna would get me my refund in the morning. An extra aspect to them not having a real agent over night that may affect you- he only speaks French. I also speak French, but this hotel advertises a 24 hour English-speaking receptionist. This is simply untrue.

Surprise surprise, the horrible manager, Jenna, told me that she believes the air conditioner was working, and that the kid last night said he fixed it😂 I said- oh, were you in my room last night? Bc it was absolutely unlivable. I could have booked a cheaper hotel if I wanted to deal with no air conditioner. I also had to spend 3 hours with him as he came into my room to press the same buttons that I had pressed, then stand there looking bored. I had to wake up early for a flight, so I got about two hours of sleep after the whole ordeal.

If they had refunded me for the one night that I didn’t get what I paid for, I probably wouldn’t have left this review. But I’m inspired now to share how horrible the hotel is overall. It’s dirty and loud, no elevator, almost no staff if you need something. I asked the night kid what is he supposed to if someone’s toilet plugged up during the night. And he said 🤷‍♂️ 🤷 Well that’s not a 24 hour desk, is...

Absolute worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. Booked two rooms for three nights and paid a decent amount as it’s Paris in July. Walked in and the lobby smelled like urine. Assigned the two rooms and began the ascent up the crooked and dangerous stairs as there’s no lift. One of the rooms was directly on the staircase and you could hear everyone coming and going all night, as well as banging from next door. Requested a different room and was told there were none available but perhaps tomorrow. Fine, we’ll stick it out. Get to the other room and the carpet is disgusting and discolored and the room smells like mold. In the morning I go to shower. Couldn’t have been in there longer than 10 minutes but I get out and the room is flooded all the way into the bedroom. Looking at the design of the bathroom (no barrier between shower and the rest of the bathroom, everything goes downward into the bedroom) this problem was totally unavoidable. Explains the mold smell. Bathroom was just as tight in the other room, with not even room to properly move about and wash yourself. Prior to check out time, I reach out to the booking site and then go down to talk to reception. They refuse to refund me for any of the stay. A little more back and forth and they finally agree to refund the third night for both rooms, even though I wasn’t staying the second night and had already found another hotel. But that’s not all. I’m told the “credit card terminal isn’t functioning” (weird because it was functioning just fine the day before when they had to charge me) and that they could only do cash. Disgusting place scamming people left and right. Avoid...

The hotel has all the standard services: bed, bathroom, air conditioning, safe, closet, minifridge, TV, and a desk. And they were so lovely to gift me a little bottle of water on the day of my arrival.||The room size was small but reasonable, I have been in much smaller rooms.||Location of the hotel is very good, few meters from Pompidou center and Notre Dame. ||Train and metro are also very close and easily accessible.||Cleaning was good but the overall experience was not exceptional.||||The hotel itself looks old and in the need of a renewal, which, at the price you pay, they should be very capable to afford.||||There is no lift and the stairs to access the rooms look dirty and are not leveled, so the sensation when you walk on them is that they are not very secure.||First day the hot water of the shower was not working.||The light in the bathroom was blinking all the time during all my stay.||During the night, there is noise from the street as it is located in a zone of bars and the windows are not isolated.||The noise from the other rooms is also very loud, in my case I had neighbors who were scarcely educated and made noise at any time during the night, so the lack of noise isolation affected the quality of my sleep at the hotel.||Also, for the price we paid, I expected to have at least the breakfast included, which was...
