I ran into Edgar Suites Louvre - Jour totally by chance, while browsing the Internet looking for a decent place for my family of 4 (parents and 2 young kids). And I must say I didn't hesitate for a second before booking a room. The place checked all the boxes that I was looking for: 2 bedrooms apt, living room, kitchen, small dinning room, amazing location, close to Metro/RER stations, walking distance to one of the most visited places in Paris (The Louvre) and more... and after reading some of the reviews, I was even more convinced that it was going to be the perfect place for our quick stop in Paris.
From the communication with the host (that I would call Edgar) to the welcome package and the stay, everything was just perfect. This place made our stay with young kids effortless.
The host, Edgar, is simply amazing and on point with communication. Before even getting to the place, he made us feel welcome and we were looking forward to our stay.
Flying from Germany to CDG, one of my concerns was transportation from the airport to Edgar Suites. Fortunately, one of the perks of this place (at least for us it was), was the fact that transportation from the airport to Edgar Suites was complimentary. I mean, how cool is it!!!
We landed at rush hour, so it took us over an hour to reach the suites, but the ride was smooth and nice... a driver was waiting for me at the Terminal exit with my name on a little monitor. That alone made a huge difference.
Once in the Suites, a staff was waiting for us, welcomed us, provided us with all required information, on top of everything that was already given through email correspondences.
The apt was warm, cozy and had all basic welcome package (even a chocolate and a Edgar Suites Bag).
Everything you need is literally around you, within short walking distance. Our time there went by fast and we enjoyed every little second of it.
As of now, I honestly cannot think of any other place I would stay if I every visit Paris again, regardless of the place I want to visit in Paris. Edgar Suites felt like home away from home, and I will definitely stay again there next time I'm in Paris.
Obviously, like in everything else, there is always room for improvements. I shared my thoughts with the Host, but I can't name anything wrong with this place. We had a wonderful stay, lovely moments and lasting memories.
Thank You...

It’s literally steps away from exit #7 of Les Halles RER / Metro station. Many said the station is large and confusing. However, if you plan ahead and know which exit you want to take, all the signs are well placed and marked. As soon as we got off the train from CDG, we followed the signs through the mall and at no time we were lost.
We had a the smallest room in the building since it was just the 2 of us. It’s a studio on the 2nd floor. It is well equipped with a bathroom and kitchenette. Closet space is adequate for 2 occupants. Our windows face an internal courtyard so it was quiet throughout our 10-day stay.
The studio was clean with a nice modern decor. Location is central to everywhere we went. Other than the day trip to Versailles when we took RER and Metro, we walked everywhere during the rest of our stay from within 1er through 18e and all our destinations were within an hour on foot.
There are so many awesome restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood … Au Pied du Couchon and Comptoir de la Gastronomie to name a few.
