Our experience at Hotel Odyssey was unbelievably unprofessional and horrible. When we checked into our room, we were unhappy with the misrepresented space we were given and the lack of cleanliness, so we asked for a larger, cleaner room (as originally booked) if available. The staff informed us that a room was available, & got us switched over to a {slightly} larger room. We moved our belongings and left for the afternoon to go explore Paris. While we were out, I received a call explaining that the room we were moved into truly wasn’t available due to “plumbing issues” and that we would need to move back to our original room when we returned from the town. Upon our return, we learned that instead of letting us retrieve our items, they moved our belongings without our permission. Later that evening, we discovered that the staff failed to retrieve all of our items from the room, so I went down to ask if I could be let in to obtain our final item. At this time, we were informed that a guest was asleep in that room and they would have to wake up the occupant in order to get our stuff. Seeing as we were told that the room was closed for maintenance, we were very upset to learn someone else was in there and that we had been lied to. It would have been more appreciated for them to tell us the truth about double booking the room. After we were moved back into our original room, we did ask (again) for cleaning services, due to a filthy shower & bathroom vents, however, this was not completed. Aside from the shower vents, the carpets were dingy & stained.
We discussed our issues with the staff multiple times (each day), but received empty promises, poor service, and none of our issues were resolved. This was - by far - the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in terms of cleanliness, service, & misrepresentation of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Odyssey during my visit to Paris, and I wanted to express my satisfaction with the experience. I believe there are several aspects of the hotel that deserve recognition and commendation.
First and foremost, I must highlight the exceptional service provided by Pedro, the receptionist. Pedro's kindness and professionalism truly stood out during my stay. His warm welcome and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests made my time at Hotel Odyssey particularly enjoyable. The rooms were immaculately presented, and the common areas were well-maintained throughout my stay. The hotel's commitment to upholding high standards of hygiene and upkeep did not go unnoticed and contributed to a pleasant and comfortable environment for guests.

Its proximity to popular attractions and public transportation made it easy for me to explore the city and make the most of my time in Paris. The accessibility of Hotel Odyssey is undoubtedly a valuable asset for guests looking to experience the charm and beauty of the French capital.

Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at Hotel Villathena we were greeted by very welcoming receptionists, the check in was seamless and we could not have asked for a better welcome. The hotel is in a great location offering easy navigation to the north of the city near Moulin Rouge and the lively, cafe and restaurant filled 9th Arr (15 mins walk). Heading towards the Louvre (30 mins walk) you meander through the shopping area dotted with the Dior, Cartier, Chanel and so many more.
We had a front facing (steet) room, which was lovely and quiet on an evening (very late evening as we were out until midnight and beyond most evenings) Mornings were equally as quiet and the window/door overlooking the street is double glazed making it very soundproof. The interior of the room was very clean and well presented. Very minimal with high ceilings the queen sized bed offered a good night's rest. The bathroom had a shower and sink and again was very clean and well presented. The toilet was a seperate room and again very clean.
We were offered the morning breakfast options but we chose to experience some of the cafes in and around the area for coffee and a croissant (or scrambled eggs)
On leaving the hotel the checkout service was exceptional and as we had a few hours left in the City the reception staff offered to hold our luggage until later.
I would not hesitate to recommend a stay in the Hotel. Absolutely fantastic from...
