Was very friendly and kind. Offered us an ice cream sample, and was patient while we made decisions. When I bought some water with our waffles he offered an option with ice in it. As an American who misses ice water very much this was a nice touch that was greatly appreciated! While he did speak English with us, he also noticed that I was attempting to speak French.
