We stayed as a small group of 5 (2 couples and 1 single traveler) for 2 nights over the weekend. We arrived late on Friday night (10pm) and it took the receptionist 1 hour 20 minutes to check 5 of us in. 2 rooms were under 1 booking name and the single person was under a separate name. He was unable to compare the bookings to our passports and we ended up having to assist him to get us finally checked in. We were the only 3 check ins on their system that evening. He did apologise and explained that as we all had the same surnames it was confusing however it was clear on their system that our full names were next to the booking so if he had looked at our first names and surnames it matched perfectly.
The rooms are small so if you have large suitcases and trolley bags be aware that you may have to fully unpack to make space. The rooms are also different sizes for the same category and my sister and brother in laws room was very small in comparison to ours which was just about moveable for 2 people but yet we paid the same price. Our room fit our needs for the weekend so no issue. We opted not to have the room cleaned as we were only there for 2 days and there was not a lot of space to move our things.
The room comes with a hairdryer. No Iron or steam Iron in the room however from other reviews it appears this can be requested. We had a shower in our room but there are baths available. The shower only comes with a 2 in 1 shampoo/wash.
Two of us had breakfast on the last day. The breakfast selection is very small compared to other 4* hotels I have stayed at in France. They had 3 different cereal options, some yoghurt, cheeses and hams with a fresh bread, and some fruit and then for cooked it was some scrambled eggs, sausages, potato and bacon.
A plus was the two female receptionists on Sunday morning were lovely and helpful. They assisted us in booking a taxi to the airport.
The location is also right next to the Champs - Elysees.
I am not sure if I would stay here again given the price we paid to stay for...

From the moment we checked in, we felt unwelcome and unfairly treated by Sebastian, the receptionist.
As part of the check-in process, I was asked for a credit card for incidentals, which is standard procedure. However, my credit card was in my jacket pocket inside my carry-on, which had already been taken to our room. I politely informed Sebastian and asked if it would be okay for me to retrieve it from my luggage. Instead of understanding, he rolled his eyes and displayed a cold, rude attitude.
To avoid further inconvenience, I offered to pay in cash on the spot, but his unwelcoming demeanor persisted. I was traveling with another person who could have waited in the lobby while I retrieved my credit card, so this should not have been an issue. His reaction was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
Later, after settling into our room, I noticed there was no hair dryer in our superior room. I spoke to reception to inquire, and Sebastian informed me it should be in the closet. When I checked again and still couldn’t find it, he insisted on coming to our room to verify before providing a hair dryer.
While I understand the need to check for consistency, his attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable, almost as if we were being accused of stealing. Once he inspected the room and confirmed there was no hair dryer, he finally handed us one.
To the hotel: no, we are not here to steal your Conair hair dryer and have no interest in taking something that belongs to your establishment.
My message to management: Please consider training your staff, especially Sebastian, to provide a more welcoming and professional experience. First impressions matter, and a rude, dismissive attitude at check-in is unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
Until there are improvements, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreThe hotel location was great but that is where it ends. The staff and service was extremely poor including the following:-
We encountered daily issues that were ignored by the team and were not addressed.
rooms not being cleaned adequately.
towels not being provided therefore having to call reception on multiple occasions to have them provided - Toilet paper not provided
Hand Soap not being refilled (after asking multiple times).
Broken coffee cup provided.
Tea, coffee, milk not being replenished.
In addition after checking out and arriving home a charge of approximately $300 AUD was charged for two bathrobes. This was never addressed or raised with us on check out.
Once contacting the hotel we were directed to the Manager Mr Leresche by email. We sent numerous emails to the manager without this being resolved he basically implied we were lying and he trusts his house keeping. Why would a guest make multiple international calls and multiple emails disputing a charge. No phone calls were ever returned by Mr Leresche even though he claims he attempted to return one phone call. He has also stopped responding to our emails. As a Manager of an international hotel your behaviour is unacceptable, unprofessional and disgraceful. We were three guest that stayed for 6 nights who extensively travel internationally. We have never had such a poor experience and will not be recommending this hotel. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL DUE TO SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. MR LERESCHE your treatment of this matter is...
