If you live in Paris, and you love Iranian food and culture, this is NOT the place for you. We came in as tourists, and as Iranian food connoisseurs and we’re delighted to find that an Iranian restaurant even existed here in Paris. However we were heavily disappointed. Firstly, the place is charging €27-35 euros for a Kebab Koobideh which should normally cost at least less than half of that. Starters were awful, there was no fresh naan (aka Taftoon) which if you eat Iranian food you would know that is shocking, and I slowly started to realise that the owner of the restaurant who started smoking where we were eating, is not Iranian owned. Avoid at all costs, don’t get tempted to eat this wildly overpriced place. I will admit I did not try the mains which did look good, but at €30 a plate, when they should be no more than €15 can...
Read moreAs a huge fan of Persian cuisine, sad to say this place is a complete rip-off. Each plate is 25-30 Euros, and pop is 6 Euros. I mean we are in Champ Elysees, so that is fine by me, but the quality is not good at all. On their website they advertise two skewers of meat for most dishes, but in reality, they only gave us 1 skewer of meat for the same dishes. In addition, the lamb dish came with fewer pieces as advertised as well. Other restaurants I tried around Champ Elysees had such good taste, but the dishes at Jet Set were not good at all, same goes for the shisha.
Finally the staff was a bit weird, had to use their washroom, and the staff member kept knocking the door to hurry up, even when the place was nearly empty (came at a non-busy hour) with no one waiting in line. I found everything...
Read moreMy experience at Jet Set Iranian Restaurant was deeply disappointing. Firstly, the ambience left much to be desired; the atmosphere lacked warmth and charm. Secondly, the customer service was abysmal; the staff seemed disinterested and neglectful. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my lamb chop, which was revolting and unacceptable. The portions served were laughably small, especially given the exorbitant prices. Additionally, despite promising four naan breads for eight people, they were dry and lacked any accompanying dips. Moreover, when ordering chicken kababs and lamb dishes, we were told they came with rice or salad, but nothing was provided as promised. Overall, my experience at Jet Set Iranian Restaurant was a regrettable one, and I wouldn't recommend...
