A Parisian Gem: Our Perfect Home Away From Home
We recently had the privilege of staying at this extraordinary boutique hotel in Paris for the second year in a row, and it continues to exceed all expectations. Located just steps from iconic attractions like the Louvre, this intimate and quiet haven offers a luxurious yet welcoming ambiance that makes you feel as if you’ve discovered a hidden treasure in the heart of the city.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and attention to detail that set the tone for our stay. The rooms are immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed, offering a serene retreat after days spent exploring the bustling city. The special touches, such as a welcome-back card and a complimentary bottle of wine in our room, made us feel cherished and valued as returning guests.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with delicious offerings tailored perfectly to start our day. Kaina, the incredible chef, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted. Her kindness and culinary expertise made every morning feel like a delightful celebration.
The real gem of this hotel, however, is its team. The spirit of the hotel is embodied by its remarkable Director, whose genuine care and hands-on approach reflect in every detail. She personally came to our room to assist us, leaving a lasting impression of leadership grounded in grace and hospitality.
Special recognition must be given to Dylan Stella at the front desk, whose thoughtfulness moved us deeply. When we casually mentioned taking an early train to London and our concerns about finding food, Dylan discreetly prepared a bag of fresh croissants and rolls for us to take along. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care, and this simple yet profound gesture will stay with us forever.
The kindness didn’t end there. Kaina and Dylan touched our hearts by giving us thoughtful gifts as we departed, a gesture that left us truly moved and grateful. Youssef Valeria was another standout team member, always attentive and proactive, ensuring that every need was met promptly and seamlessly. His dedication to excellence made our visit unforgettable. Antonella also added to the magic of our experience with her attentive and friendly service.
This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience that elevates your trip to Paris into something unforgettable. If you’re seeking a destination that matches the beauty and elegance of Paris itself, look no further. This boutique hotel has set a standard of hospitality that others should aspire to achieve. We cannot wait to return next year and create even more wonderful memories with this exceptional team.
Bravo to the entire staff for making our stay so special! You have forever earned a place in our hearts and our Parisian...
Read moreAfter many reviews, I decided to book this particular hotel. I have no regrets, and I would 100% return for another stay. Most of the other reviews complained about the lack of space. Well, if you research overall living spaces in Europe you'll see that they live in smaller spaces than the U.S. The room was small, but not inconvenient in the least. The room and hotel decor is quaint yet modern, intimate, and clean. The staff members were ALL genuine, sweet, respectful, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Aside from lovely hospitality, the hotel is in walking distance from the Louvre museum (which is why I chose it and I was very pleased w/ the distance), lots of local restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops (there's an awesome macaroon shop less than 5 minutes away). It's also less than 10 minutes away from the L'Opera, a shopping center/strip of shops, and a bus tour. If I absolutely had to choose something to 'dislike', it would only be that there isn't a metro station closer than 15 mins away. With that being said, all of our Ubers (when we didn't walk) were less than 9 Euros per trip. Even with hearing people late at night occasionally (there are 2 small restaurants directly across the street), it doesn't last more than a few minutes. Also, breakfast is not complimentary, but that gave us more of a reason to go try new cafes. Hands down, one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time. Oh, the sauna was impressive as well. Just...
Read moreMy review is only based on the booking process. I went online to book with Hotel Square Louvois for October 2019. Since the trip was more than 6 months out, I made sure to select a rate that WAS NOT prepaid. It was clearly stated that I could cancel the reservation prior to the trip and I would only be charged on arrival. Two days later, I noticed that my credit card was charged for the entire trip. I emailed to clarify the rate and explained that I shouldn’t have been charge. The hotel responded and apologized, but proceeded to state that they would refund me if I decided to cancel the reservation. I then had to explain that I choose that rate for a reason and did not want to prepay for the hotel so far in advance of my trip. The hotel refunded me, but I still had almost $8 on my credit card that was unaccounted for. After speaking with the hotel again, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. It was quickly resolved, but the entire experience was inconvenient. I ultimately cancelled due to the location of the hotel, but Hotel Square Louvois seems to be really helpful to guests. Upon booking, they provided information to assist with trip planning and also offered to make dinner/show reservations...
