8/31/2019 through 9/6/2019 Just finished up a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel in Paris. Ok. Let’s get this review out on a tray. Nice. Arrived around 1130am from a international overnight flight. We were able to get our room right away. Yes! Good stuff. Check in was fast and pain free. You will told there is a 1.80 Euro tax per person per night which is in addition to your rate. It’s a Paris city tax. You pay when you leave. There is a small and I mean small elevator off the desk. It was a tight fight for two people and carry on bags. You can take the stairs if that’s easier. Room. Nice! It’s a small and cozy room. Power and lights on each side of the bed. Night lights as well. Sunblock curtains. Small closet. Mini fridge with a bottle opener. Luggage rack, small desk and chairs. Bed was comfy. Bathroom. Hmm. This was my only gripe. The shower could leak through the movable partition and lots of water would get on the floor. Water pressure was great and it would get hot hot hot. Hairdryer and toiletries were included as well as a robe. Air conditioning. Hell yes! Real a/c. Cold as you want it. High as you want it. Yes! Yes! Yes! I loved the a/c here. TV. Plenty of channels to ignore. I mean who comes to Paris to watch TV. Location. The hotel is right off a side street and it’s very quiet. Very nice. Only a few minutes walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There is a grocery about 100m away for supplies. Easy walk to the metro and Le Bus if that’s your thing. I was very pleased and will stay here again.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful hotel, great location. Staff hit and miss; on the arrival there was a lady and gentleman that were very friendly and pleasant and said bonjour and au revoir, but one the second day, there two gentlemen and they seemed not to be bothered- constantly stuck on their phones. The room was generally clean, but there was quite a bit of dust in the toilet as well as the room. We didn’t use the swimming pool, as it was quite small, and no sauna, so it didn’t seem like good value for €30, that you had to pay separately for (which I only found out from the reviews of other people). It would be even better if they could have some seats on the balcony, as it was very pretty and we sat there using chair and pouffe from the room. Would recommending if you want to be close to Champs Elyse. If not, there is nice hotels, cheaper elsewhere.

Delightful staff, pretty building and communal area. We had a junior suite which was nice but quite small. There's also a sixth floor balcony which opens onto the sofa bed room, which we wouldn't have booked if we'd known as it was the room our 3 year old was sleeping in. There was no way to hard lock the balcony door, she could open it easily. We had to block it with furniture. So still a lovely space and a great location, just a few mins walk from arc d'triomphe, lovely staff but I would not book it again as it wasn't suitable for our family.

I never thought I’d have to write a review like this, but here we are.||||During our stay, we used the in-room safe to store a few valuables, assuming (naively) that a safe would be… well, safe. Big mistake. We checked out of room and accidently left our headphones in the safe. Once we realised we had misplaced them we returned to hotel who assured us "Nothing was left in the room". our Apple headphones (Value of £500) were gone — taken directly from the locked safe. Luckily these headphones are trackable and they were moving further out of Paris city. ||||We reported this immediately, and instead of concern, we were met with dismissiveness and zero accountability. No investigation, not even an apology. The front desk treated us like we were making it up, which only made things worse. The lady at the front desk after hours of back and forth, called the housekeeper who admitted to stealing the headphones and taking them home with her. Instead of handing them into lost property as you would except (considering we only checked out 2/3 hours ago).||||The manager of the property then continued to tell us "its our own fault" and "they were not stolen". As we had a flight to catch back home they assured us we would be refunded for our stay and compensated for the extra hours our driver had to wait until we got to the bottom of this issue. ||||The hotel has now refused to give us a refund or any compensation for our stay, they are supposedly posting our belongings back to us, However we have no idea the current condition and state of the headphones considering they had been taken by someone we do not know. ||||Let me be blunt: if your belongings matter to you, stay far away from this place. These are the kind of people they are employing and they can access your room at any time and stealing from a locked safe is not only unacceptable — it’s criminal.||||We came for rest and relaxation. We left with frustration and a police report....

Please be aware when booking this property! Coming from someone that is in the Hospitality industry! This hotel has so much potential but its killing it with its service and facilities. Starting from the location, the property its located in a quiet are and super easy access with 2 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe and this might be the best part about the hotel! Don't bother booking the stay with breakfast there are plenty of restaurants offering brunch for cheaper and better quality, there were never eggs, sausages and so on everything was always empty and it took 20 minutes to replace everything. Even one day when we were having breakfast we had to leave because of an issue with the alarm it was impossible to stay in the restaurant (which is the reception) even in the room it was impossible to stay. Due to the location the hotel is very small for the amount of guests they are receiving so be aware that the check-in and check-out might have a huge line because its so small the are that people don't have space with all the bags. The rooms are very small and when we first arrived we had to request to change it, it was impossible to breath they were nice to change to the street side since we were facing on the previous room a white dirty wall. The new room was more spacious and you could see the top of the Eiffel Tower. The service is terrible! You have 2 people which the name I can't remember that work in the reception that are very helpful and nice but the rest its terrible! Housekeeping is super loud during the morning! The people serving during breakfast are constantly eating, drinking coffee and making loud sounds with cutlery while we are eating! The chef takes time to cook it's a mess! The property has so much potential that is sad to see that they don't use their potential. I must say it is disappointing to pay $620 for 3 nights and have to go...

Myself and my Mother stayed at the Star Champs Elysées for 3 nights. From beginning to end it was an absolutely perfect stay. ||Due to our early morning flight, we arrived at the hotel at 9am. The hotel were very accommodating and we completed the check in process when we arrived. We were able to leave our large suitcase which was stored securely at no extra cost. As our room was not ready, we were shown to the toilets we could use to freshen up before our day of sightseeing. ||When returning later that evening we were very happy with our room. Our suitcase had been left in our room for us which was a great touch. It was comfortable, had good facilities, was modern in decor and even had a beautiful french balcony. ||We had 3 peaceful nights sleep, as the hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful area. The hotel has great transport links and is a 5 minute stroll from the metro station and bus stops. It is an ideal base for exploring Paris and is close to tourist hot spots and many nice eateries. It also only took us 45 minutes to get from the hotel to Disney Land Paris.||I also would like to note that upon returning to the hotel in the evening to collect our luggage, we were stopped by a member of staff who notified me they had found some earrings in our room after we checked out and returned them safely to me. I cannot express my gratitude for this. ||All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and really enhanced our stay. The reception seemed to manned 24 hours a day and we felt very safe and secure as a party of two female travellers.||Overall a 10/10 stay and we look forward to returning...
