First of all (the worst of the list of dreadful things about this hotel) - when the cleaners came on our second day to clean the room, they left the door unlocked so by the time we came back at 10pm it had clearly been unlocked all day. If we had left valuables inside our room, these could have been stolen. Furthermore on this point, our safe was locked and therefore unusable.||||Secondly, the shower didn't have a holder for the shower head, meaning you had to hold this yourself. This is an easily fixable job that was clearly not a recent breakage (as there were no remnants of a previous holder). This is just lazy housekeeping and a sign that the hotel do not care about the upkeep of their rooms.||||Thirdly, the bedding was incredibly uncomfortable. A sheet, a very itchy "blanket" and a thin polyester covering. We both woke up in the middle of the night from how bad these were meaning we were very tired throughout the day. ||||Wifi. What wifi? Non-existent in the room and minimal in the lobby. We called for help connecting, we were given the wrong passcode for the floor's wifi and the staff member hung up on us when we asked for help on this.||||Other things - the remote barely worked for the TV (new batteries are inexpensive). The room was also cold. ||||And finally, when we checked in we were handed the key and discovered our room wasn't ready (with it being in the middle of cleaning). It would have been much better to come back in 30mins when it was ready than have a room...

This was not a pleasant experience unfortunately. The lift is barely large enough for an average sized person to turn around in if they have a coat on. The room itself was fine. Small and outdated. My husband tried to open the curtain and the inner curtain fell right off the window. The pillows were incredibly flat. The bathroom (if I can even call it that) was a shock. It was barely larger than the lift. My husband and I were looking forward to a shower after a long day of traveling but we decided it wasn’t worth it. Logistically, I’m not even sure how the water draining would work considering the shower head points to a lifted area on the floor that doesn’t lead to the drain. The beds were also uncomfortable and it was noisy. My husband tried to be polite to the gentleman at the front desk and ask (in French) if the man spoke English and the man snapped at him in saying that he did. Also you have to return your key to the front desk each time you leave. I am glad we only stayed here for one night. I would not...

This is a budget hotel and therefore we came in with low expectations and it didn't disappoint. We wanted to stay somewhere we could get easy access to the city and with plenty of shops nearby and this hotel provided just that. We took the opportunity to have breakfast from all the local cafes nearby rather than getting the breakfast at the hotel. We enjoyed our experience here even though it wasn't a great hotel. It was very average! We love shopping so we went to Westfield's (Forum Des Halles) which was a 15 min route from the hotel via RER A. The Champs Des Eleysees was round the corner so that was great too! Highly recommended for people who want to visit Paris and travel the city rather than stay in the hotel all day.

Would not recommend It is absolutely impossible that such a hotel has a rating of 8+ It is a budget hotel, but: Visit it only if you are ready to sacrifice everything a hotel has to offer in the name of good location. Staff’s not friendly, the manager made it into a problem that I went to breakfast in the last minute. The breakfast has no variety. There are constructions and renovations while the hotel is open for guests and the noise isolation is nonexistent. Most of the rooms are tiny and need renovation and our “bathroom” was literally a square meter. Also there was no closet. And since the hotel doesn’t show that type of room, I’ll do it for them (pics included)
