Le Narjisse — Restaurant in Paris

My friend and me came to this place to smoke shisha and we have already ordered it and even started to smoke when a waiter came to us that to be in their place "shisha is not enough and we have to order something else". Of course, me and my friend were in a shock because usually about these kind of things waiter should say the client before they order anything. MOREOVER, before he said that phrase, we really wanted to order some drinks but after his words we lost any desire to do it because he said it in a very RUDE and IMPOLITE manner. Since it was already late and we didn't know where to go else, we stayed and I order NOT TASTY AT ALL CAPPUCCINO that costed 8€! Yes, prices for any drink were very high and after I tried my cappuccino I understood that other drinks mostly gonna be not delis buoys as well because I have no idea how can you spoil simple cappuccino if everything you need to do is just to make it with a good coffee machine. Anyway, we sit there just for 30/40 mins because shisha didn't meet our expectations and nothing is worse than to come in shisha bar and smoke the shisha we don't like. But the most excited part of my story comes to its end. When we asked the bill then a waiter brought us with the amount of 30€. However, shisha costed only 20€ and my cappuccino only 8€. So where does extra 2€ come from? So I asked the waiter and he said that the least amount we should order for drinks is 10€ BUT AGAIN when I was ordering my drink the waiter didn't say anything and then he showed me that it was written in menu and YES, it was written but first of all at the BACK OF THE MENU IN SMALL LETTERS AND SECOND THE MENU WAS IN FRENCH, so how could we understand that meaning of the message if we don't know French?

Coming to the end. Guys, it's not about money, okay? Who cares about 2€? It's about BEING FAIR AND POLITE AND GETTING THE SERVICE YOU DESERVE AS A CLIENT!!! I came to this shisha bar with one thought - to relax after long difficult day and to smoke my lovely shisha but INSTEAD I spend 10-15 mins arguing with the whole staff and explaining to them that the way they treat customers is horrible! And of course I didn't get any pleasure from being there and moreover they made my mood even lower...I hope that this comment will be useful for many people and great inside look of this shisha bar won't mislead you as it misled me!...

Beware of this place if you are American and black!! They tried to scam my friends and I out of several hundred dollars during our recent visit to their establishment. It was obvious that they thought we were dumb or drunk enough to not pay attention to the overpriced bill but that is where they had it incorrect. After confronting the personnel about the discrepancies in our bill (in a very professional and respectful manner) they became very nasty and irate with us and refused to correct the bill even after we went line by line and they saw that the listed items were incorrect. For example, we were charged for 5 hookahs when in actuality we only had 3 (the hookahs were around 65 euro each on the menu but somehow they were 95 euro on our bill). I have plenty more examples of this horrible experience but I would be here all day. I am truly disappointed because I enjoyed this establishment when I visited about 5 year ago. Definitely has gone downhill. They had a dj during my last visit but used us for free labor when they gave us their iPad to play...

These people will scam you! If you can STAY away ! Went to this place with a large group after the beyonce concert ! We ordered 3 hookahs, 4 pasta, 2 tacos, 15 drinks total (no premium liquor or premium hookahs). The man brought us a bill for 790 euros but did not provide a breakdown. We asked to see a bill breakdown because we knew this was too much. They of course had to stall and make up random crap on the bill, we were charged for 2 extra pastas, 2 extra premium hookahs And 7 additional Drinks. The worker totaled what we had up to 570 euros, then tried to say we still owed money ! Absolutely not !! Then tried to argue that we owed more when they noticed that we were not drunk and fully aware that they were trying to overcharge us !! This business with the bad music, weak hookah and terrible food should be out of business!!! Do not patronize this...
