The front office and reception staff were very kind, responsive, supportive, and welcoming, especially Mr. Stefan and Mr. Joseph. The hotel was conveniently close to the Metro stations, making transportation easy. The area was quiet and suitable for families, with several supermarkets and good restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and nicely arranged. The restaurant staff were also very welcoming. Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay at, particularly due to the convenient transportation, pleasant area, and friendly staff. There were space constraints in the room, and the breakfast could be improved. Additionally, there were some difficulties with carrying big luggage to the room as there was no lift to the first floor but the staff were very helpful. A great hotel to stay at with convenient transportation, a pleasant area, and friendly staff.

I just adored this hotel. Having stayed twice, it is a very quaint and a true Parisian experience, unlike a big hotel chain. Room had lovely traditional decor and was extremely clean. Reception helpful and really friendly. Traditional continental breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread and pastries. Location just fantastic- we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. Restaurant 1 minute down the road called Publisher Pub was our go to with amazing food and wine. Honestly the experience was faultless! Thank you for having us. We will certainly reccomend to our fellow Australians and return asap.

My Partner and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights. ||Whilst we were planning our first trip to Paris, we looked at so many hotels, in different areas.||We are so pleased we chose the New Orient Hotel, it was perfect :-) |Personally, we felt it was in an ideal location, close to 3 Metro stations, that could get you to all the main tourist attractions within 20-30 minutes.||The area around the hotel was less hectic than right in the centre of the city and it was nice to retreat to a more relaxed vibe after a busy day of sightseeing.|There were plenty of bars and some nice places to eat near by. There is also a supermarket right opposite the hotel.||The hotel itself was so clean! Our bedding was changed everyday as were our towels. We had a Superior Double room and the size of the room was perfect. We had nice big windows/doors, that we could open for a lovely bit of fresh air. There is a bar just up from the hotel that was a little noisy in the evenings but if you closed the window, you couldn't hear a thing (very good sound proofing!) .|The bed was lovely and comfortable. The shower was lovely and we always had hot water and we loved the double sinks. The wardrobe was a great size for hanging clothes and it also had shelves for clothes. Along with a safe and extra pillows and blankets if needed. |It was our Anniversary during our stay and they put petals on our bed and left a small bottle of bubbly ( I believe my Partner arranged this with them, previous to our arrival) and a Anniversary card in our room, it was a lovely touch, thank you! ||The only thing missing from the room was a Kettle, we knew this when we booked but as us 'British People' (as we were jokingly called by one member of staff when we asked for a cup of tea one evening) like our cup of tea first thing in the morning or in the evening, it was one thing we missed slightly. We thought about taking a travel kettle with us but i'm not sure if the hotel would have liked that, so we didn't bother.||We had Breakfast during our stay, which was lovely. Options were, Fresh juices, tea, coffee, croissants, Pain au Chocolate, Bread Rolls, Cereal, Fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and sweet but didn't speak much english, but we knew enough French to get by. ||All the staff we saw and spoke to were all welcoming and friendly and the man that was there when we checked out was helpful in ordering us a taxi to the airport.||The spiral stairs up to the rooms are a little narrow in places, you just have to be a bit careful ( it is around 10 steps up to the small lift ) however, our suitcases were taken to our room for us, so this was no problem!||Thank you to all staff at the New Orient Hotel, for such a comfortabe stay, us 'British People' (ha,ha) will be back to stay again for sure when we hopefully return...

MUCHAS GRACIAS.||||A ANABELA, SANDRA, ILDA y BEATRIZ.

As a regular visitor of Paris I decided to change from IBIS and visit this hotel. Unfortunately, I regretted this decision.

As soon as I arrived around 10pm the receptionist told me that the doors lock around 1am and he asked what time I was going to be back. If you go back after 1AM you need to wake up someone to open the door for you, instead of scanning your card at the door to go in. If I wanted to have this level of privacy, I would rather pay less money in an Airbnb! Also, while in Paris you definitely want to live the night life!

I booked a single room that had a double bed. The room was tiny compared to other hotels with the same price, so I wonder why this is supposed to be a hotel with a high rating. In the morning you could hear noises from the building like a washing machine was working. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow making it really uncomfortable for me to work from this hotel. Also, if you have luggage, no one is helping you on the tiny steps to get to the tiny lift.

At the top of this whole situation, I had a family member that visited me for a few minutes due to a medical emergency and the reception ran behind the guest to ask why they were coming with me, and she reminded me that I had a single room. This behaviour NEVER exists in any other hotels or IBIS that I stayed in Paris before.

The only positive thing was the location but there are other great locations to stay in Paris. I appreciate that this is a family business, and I was happy to think that I would like to support this hotel, but there is some serious work that needs to be done for...
