What a gem of a hotel! This bijoux property has all the Parisian charm. On the Left bank, steps away from Odeon station, in an area full of lovely brasseries, patisseries and cafes. It's perfect for a short break. For such a buzzy area, it's really peaceful and quiet at night.||The hotel itself is lovely. Rooms are Parisian-sized - we had the superior room which was very comfortable with extra space for luggage, double vanity and a walk-in shower. The blue deco is actually much nicer than the photo on the website. It's really cozy and romantic, with views out to the street and Parisian rooftops.|The staff were all so welcoming - friendly and always ask how was our day. We had breakfast every morning and the spread was enough to set you up.||Location is perfect; so near the metro and several bus routes to most central Paris attractions. Fancied a walk? It's about 15-20 min to the Seine, the Louvre and Notre Dame and slightly longer to Musee D'Orsay or Le Marais. It's 5 min to Jardin du Luxembourg. About 5-10 min wander to Saint Suplice.||Food? It's so near to viral spots like Cafe de Flore and Angelina (in the park). We skipped those and opted for Breizh, just next door for perfect buckwheat crepes. There is quite a few Japanese eating spots and even an Indonesian restaurant near the Theatre. Don't skip the baguettes and sandwiches at Eric Kayser.||Big tip - Book direct through the hotel website for the best prices. Believe me, we looked! We also had free breakfast with our rate....

Read moreThe service is like a hostel not a hotel with any stars. They don't help with bags, or airport taxis. They do not respect privacy at all and they enter the rooms while you're sleeping even with a do not disturb sign, and they also go through your personal belongings. They stole my tobacco. They demand the key when coming and going outside each time. As a 45 year old man, I can be responsible with a key or pay for a lost one, but they do not accept that and want to hold the key explaining that it was very valuable. It is very loud and the walls shake when anyone closes a door. The hotel smells like cigarettes and dust. The rooms are small. My first night was $52 and it was a great price and location. The next night it was $75 and barely worth it. I moved to a new hotel for $90 down the road and it's a real 4 star hotel with an elevator and friendly staff. My new room at hotel pantheon is cheaper and literally 6 times the size of the hotel odeon. The odeon was so small you couldn't fit 2 people standing. There was a teensy shower with a broken wand and no bathtub. bathtub.I regret my money at odeon hotel for 3 nights. Be sure to look around for better hotels for your stay in Paris. Especially if it's more that...
