Price: €€€ Drink: 3/5 Service: good Atmosphere: hipster, informal Noise level: medium France is not famous for beer at all, so looking for a place to drink good beer in Paris is a kind of contradiction since you are in a country mostly famous for excellent wine, champagne and cheese. You might also think is quite silly to pay 7 to 10 Euro for a pint. Well...welcome to Paris! La Robe & La Mousse is, apparently, one of best bars to drink craft beers and indeed the choice and the quality confirm that. To accompany your sense of dehydration, there is a small selection of salami and cheese which won't disappoint your taste buds. Randomly the wine selection is not very good in here, so might look for another option around the area if you can't really drink a beer.

A great variety of local craft beers! The owners are knowledgeable and always keen to help you choose! Make sure to follow their recommendations. Besides the craft beers this spot is cosy and quaint. However one could argue that it can get fully packed during the weekend: a room/cave is also accessible if it starts to get crowded! Finally, to pair the tasty local beers try the cheese and/or the cured sausages. My take: go for the 25cl to optimize the number of beers you can try in one single night ;). Last time I check there were 16 different options. The plus: Choices of wines in case you are not in the mood for beers! Tip: the tables at the back are usually booked. For seating options go downstairs.

I’m SO glad we found this bar during our trip to Paris. As someone who loves good beer (IPAs specifically) it was great to meet and talk to the bartenders who were equally as passionate about brewing. The staff were so kind and let us taste different options and gave us suggestions. They even recommended other beer bars for us to try while in Paris. We had 3 different beers here and they were all very good. Definitely the best beer we had in Paris. Would love to come back next time we are in Paris

La Robe & la Mousse is not your typical small brew pub in the heart of Paris, and we loved that about it. From the long bar upstairs to the very private feeling of the downstairs room, this place made you feel at home as soon as you walked in the door. Our bartender was phenomenal and we were served immediately upon entering. He shared a number of selections from other local breweries and gave us information about one in Southern France where we were traveling the following day! Great Beers, great brewers,...
