|Upon our late check-in, we found the process to be quite pleasant, though the staff member appeared unaware that breakfast was included in our booking. However, once we inquired about it, they quickly resolved the issue.||The room, while compact, offered a comfortable stay and boasted a convenient proximity to a metro station, making it an excellent choice for those eager to explore Paris.||In the breakfast room, you'll find a water machine that's handy for taking water back to your room in the evening. Inside the room, there's a kettle stocked with four tea packets and a couple of coffee sachets, though regrettably, milk was not provided, and paper cups were the norm. It's worth noting that there's a shortage of available plug sockets in the room.||The breakfast selection was quite good, featuring croissants, pancakes, cakes, juice, jams, yogurt, and an assortment of fruits.||While the room was on the smaller side and lacked air conditioning, a fan was provided, albeit with a bit of noise. Additionally, please be aware that you'll need to leave your room key at the reception each time you leave the hotel.||They do offer a luggage room, which came in handy for storing our bags upon check-out, to be collected later in the day before our 5 pm train. However, it's important to note that the room is not locked, so keep that in mind when storing your belongings. Read moreAn absolute gem of a hotel. Fantastic location - tucked away enough to be quiet at night but close enough to the centre that I didn't actually need to use the Metro to get to any of my destinations! I was able to check in an hour before the official time which was a wonderful unexpected bonus.|The room was perfectly sized for one (I had the single room with a double bed as I like to starfish in my sleep), well stocked with towels etc, and the fan was much appreciated after walking around a very warm Paris all day. |Every member of staff I spoke to was friendly, polite, and really patient with my half remembered GCSE French, letting me try to do as much of each conversation as I could in French. I hadn't booked the breakfast as I had early plans each morning but I did regret it as it smelled amazing.|The hotel was clean, tidy, and yes, the lift isn't going to fit a football team in but it was just right for me and my suitcase. I very much appreciate the ability to leave my suitcase at the hotel after I checked out! The wifi worked and was a very decent speed, especially for a hotel!|I am hoping to return to Paris next year when the Olympics aren't taking up so much of the city centre and I will definitely be booking here again if I do manage...
Read moreMy sister-in-law, niece and her girlfriend visited Paris in early March of this year. This hotel is fabulous. It was recommended by my former college professor who taught French and Humanities. Six months prior to our trip we started emailing Clementine and Gwendal on the hotel staff with various questions-mostly pertaining to the weekly changes with Covid-19. All of our questions were answered promptly.
We began our stay in one large quad (four of us in one room) but quickly realized it would be more comfortable with two adjoining rooms. Clementine graciously changed our accommodations to two adjoining rooms. Our rooms were clean and quiet.
There was an option to pay each morning for breakfast but we opted to venture out on our own. I really needed a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and the staff allowed me to wander into the breakfast room for a cup of coffee (a la carte).
All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. We enlisted Gwendal a few times to help us navigate to a nearby restaurant. This hotel is in the 6th district and we felt it was centrally located and near many of the sights we wanted to see. We’re recommending this hotel to our family and friends. We...
