It is a lovely little second-hand bookstore with mainly English books as far as I could tell. I heard the owner mention that their inventory was also online.
Don't try to buy just one book from a series, though. He doesn't like that very much. His words to a customer attempting to purchase only the first book of a set of two. I don't disagree with him on that point. (To be clear, he was not rude to the customer. Also, it didn't seem like said customer realized there were 2 in the series.)
The store itself is neat and organized, more than most I've been to. It could be a tight fit to move around comfortably for certain body types with 2-3 people in the aisle.

Read moreI have been to this little bookstore in the heart of Paris many times to buy books and yesterday I stoped by to sell some. They guy looked at me little I was contagious, barely said two words, looked at my books and just say "I can't take any of these" with a horrible look. It's not about the books, I was ready to donate them, which I did someplace else, but for a place called San Francisco, I was very surprised to have this kind of "welcome". Books are about stories and history, exchange, sharing, opinions, and laughs even, it's not about what I got yesterday. If he doesn't want people to come back, mission accomplished, I won't anyway....

I found a copy of an older book that is nowhere to be found in the US (I live on the West Coast). But this store-in Paris! had it. I used PayPal. I received it today, 13 Feb 25, in less than two weeks. It was exactly the condition it was listed on eBay, the price was reasonable and it arrived as if the shipper is a weather forecaster, as it's snowing as I type this, and the book was packaged to defeat rain or snow.
