We visited with Overseas Adventure Travel so I do not know the price. Room 16 on the ground floor was the strangest hotel room I have ever stayed in. As you walk into the room there are 2 large sections of shelf=ves and and 2 hanging positions for clothes but only one luggage stand. The bathroom is brand new and elaborately designed but has no place to hang up damp towels except on the top of the door or the glass shower panel. Down a hallway is a small bedroom with 2 twin beds and a huge window. There are no reading lights and no electrical outlets. The desk is tucked away under a stairway like the one where Harry Potter lived. It shares the space with a TV and a refrigerator but there is only one electrical plug so you can only use one at a time and there is no place to plug in a computer or phone charger. Up a flight of 12 steps is a large loft bedroom with a big king sized bed and 2 reading lamps. Again, there are no outlets for computers or charging. The ceiling is so low on both sides that i was constantly hitting my head. My wife and I decided to stay downstairs in the "kiddie beds" to avoid having to navigate the stairs to the bathroom in the dark. On the plus side, the breakfast room was bright and sunny and had a large assortment of items, at the uppeer end of most European...
Read moreThe hotel was easy to find with Sat Nav. On entry the receptionist was very courteous and friendly. The bedroom was big with a king-sized bed which was comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a big selection of food and drinks. The only downside to the stay was the free wifi which was so low it was impossible to receive or send messages. The pool and area was clean and tidy with pool towels provided. There were also loungers for sun bathing, plus a seating area with table away from the pool area. There was a disabled access to the pool area, but the access into the pool was so difficult as there was no safety hand rail or ladder to enable access, as the first step down from the edge was so deep it couldn't be reached. Perhaps more agile and younger persons could manage. The free parking was in the street. There was an unloading bay for 15 minutes, but due to the popularity of the location it could be difficult to park close by in the peak season. Having said all that it was a lovely hotel with great...
Read moreNot in the heart of the old town action, but a short walk (a couple of blocks) outside. I had a huge room with a high ceiling. The bathroom was large but relatively dimly lit. There were no towel hooks. I had no problem with the tub shower, but some in our group did - dangerous for some, with no grab bar to step over high tub and shower head very high up on the wall, so high that many in our group could not reach it to use as a hand-held. Air conditioning was weak but Wi-Fi was good. Automatic blackout window shades were neat but a bit tricky to figure out. The safe in my room did not work and no one was available to fix it after the staff left at 6:00 pm, but they did fix it the next day, and made sure to check back with me to ensure I was able to use it. There is a very nice-sized swimming pool with lounge chairs around it. Breakfast was a little hectic and understaffed. Staff was...
