This is a bed and breakfast where guests can interact with the host. The host is very hospitable, and the dog is also extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent. Just a 200-meter walk will get you to the entrance of the old town.
🛌Room Facilities: The bed is slightly firm, and there are no pillows, only cushions. Sleeping with one of these cushions is low, and with two, it's higher. Some curtains don't completely block the light, especially in the bathroom. There is air conditioning. Guests need to bring their own plug adapters. You'll receive one bottle of water, some snacks, and instant coffee packets.
🚿Bathroom: Separate wet and dry areas. It provides a hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and cotton swabs. Guests should bring their own: conditioner, facial cleanser, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb.
The shower has ample hot water, a strong water flow, and quick water speed. The showerhead can fly. However, the shower area isn't completely enclosed, and water can splash outside. The hot water for the sink takes a bit longer to flow, around a minute. At first, I thought there was no hot water supply.
🦚Environment: It is indeed as the host described, quite peaceful. You won't be bothered by noise from people walking around upstairs. In the private courtyard, there are tables, chairs, and umbrellas for shade. There is no private parking on the premises. Guests arriving by car will need to use the public parking area in the front square. Parking is free from 5 PM to 10 AM the next morning, and charges apply during other times, following the standard rates of the public parking area.
The host mentioned that the Wi-Fi signal can be unstable, and often go up and down, up and down, but in reality, guess what, the signal is mostly going down...
Read moreWe can't say enough good things about this nice little place! Arriving late at night in pouring rain, we had difficulty finding it! We drove around and around the old town area and, with the telephone help of the wonderful host and hostess, finally located the place to park! Patrick came out to meet us as we still didn't see the hotel (I think it only has 4 rooms!) and helped us find a more suitable place to leave the car and showed us to our room. His wife Michele made us an elegant and delicious breakfast each morning and helped us decide places to explore. She speaks mostly French, and it was fun to practice my very limited French with her! The room was so convenient for walking around the beautiful medieval city. We were able to return to it during the day for a rest stop and go out later for more touring. This area of France is absolutely gorgeous and we hope to be able to return and stay again at this...
