Les Trois Jardins — Hotel in Sarlat-la-Canéda

My husband and I stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment located in a gorgeous,traditional, period building. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the apartment was scrupulously clean and tidy.The location is superb, near to Sarlat town centre but tucked away in a peaceful and quiet spot with lovely views toward the town.Inside was a delight. Every inch of the apartment is beautifully decorated with stylish and comfortable furniture. I particularly adored the romantic bedroom which had a very large and comfy bed. The owners have a great eye for detail and an artistic flair that makes the interior truly original but practical. All our needs were catered for.A great location to go and explore the area from. We recently enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay in Jo and Steve’s home. We were greeted by Jo who was so warm and welcoming without being overbearing. She showed us to our room which was perfect and included a marvellous en-Suite with walk-in shower.||||The property is located a mere 5 to 10 minute walk from the historic centre of Sarlat but be aware that the path from the house to the street is a little uneven and only partially lit in the evenings.||||However, the crowning glory of our stay (on a par with Sarlat itself) was the breakfast spread prepared by Steve, mainly from produce found in his garden. My wife and I enjoyed 5 nights in the Picasso Studio at Les Trois Jardin during September. Jo met us upon arrival, showing us the room and grounds, while prevailing upon us to reach out to her for anything that might make our stay more pleasant, including restaurant recommendations, sights of interest, and the like. Each morning, Steve spoiled us with a breakfast of fresh fruit, croissants, charcuterie, cheeses, eggs, café au lait, black tea, and pleasant conversation.
