Fantastic value for money! Much better than what you would expect from a 2 star hotel!

Location: The hotel is a 20minute walk away from the city centre and it is perfect for travellers who want to explore the city on foot - the hotel's parking lot is free for guests.

Staff: All of the staff members we interarcted with were highly professional, very polite and remarkably helpful and offered the type of hospitality and level of consideration that I've only encountered in much more expensive hotels before.

Rooms: The twin room was small but very comfortable with good quality matresses, pillows and sheets. It was also impeccably clean.

Breakfast: For 10 Euros per person, the breakfast was exceptional and offered different local pastries and cakes, fresh croissants, bread, different cereals, eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, different joghurts and custards, a variety of candy, fruit salad, sparkling wine, juices, and a remarkable variety of fresh fruit.

Overall impression: The quality of the services and amenities at this affordable hotel really exceeded our expectations. The staff clearly take their job very seriously and have a genuine interest in making the guests' stay at the hotel as agreeable...

Great place for a stop over!|We stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of September on our journey back through France to the UK.|Easy to reach off the motorway, lots of secure parking, with a barrier & code access. |Our room was lovely. Bathroom clean and great shower. |Kettle & coffee/tea in the room. |No fan in the room, if it had been hot we would say that would be a great addition but we opened our window & that was fine. |Even though we were opposite the lift the noise was minimal and we slept soundly. |Reception staff very helpful & friendly. |No complaints from us! ||The tram into Strasbourg centre was a few mins walk from hotel. You can walk to the centre by the river if you want to but we read that we may encounter some undesirables so we took the tram. |Tram was easy to use, automated ticket machines on the platform and you validate your ticket on a separate machine before boarding. My husband & I stayed on Friday, May 5, 2023, our first night in beautiful France. A comfortable clean hotel, with beautiful grounds in a garden atmosphere & fine dining in a lovely cheery restaurant full of French charm. Our waiter at dinner was Michael (tall & slender, I HOPE I’ve remembered his name!) & he was perfect! It got very busy & he also had desk duties for incoming guests but we were never neglected & he was so kind, as were the others working that night. We chose a tender roast Chicken in a light flavorful sauce served with Spaetzle, and a roasted Pork with gravy and potato “cakes”……both excellent in taste, portions and appeal. Breakfast was served buffet style & the croissants, cheeses, ham, etc was very good along with good coffee. We feel the value of the room & of our dinner was fair considering the quality of our meal; nothing seemed overpriced. The Hotel was quiet & easy to find.
