We stayed in room 1708. As we arrived at the evening to take a shower, the hose was broken and we could not take a shower. ( water leaking out, No pressure) We refrain from calling as it was almost 11pm / midnight Next day, early morning we called the front desk and Patricia, our shift receptionist claimed there was not technician, there was not other room available and we could take a shower at the reception. I could not express not only the lack of maintenance of the hotel but the lack of training from the management to attent claims. It is basic to have the shower and toilet working. At the end, we could have a shower at the handicap room at the 2nd floor. SURPRISINGLY as we picked up out baggage in the afternoon, at the front desk there was another guest claiming about the same issue and the same room 1708. It is incredible how the lack of interest and attention to a customer. Front desk assigned the room again not even reporting the issue and leaving the problem to their team on the afternoon shift. Another points: The hotel location is misleading. Indeed there is another adagio closer and better located near Petite France. Also, in the neighborhood there is very little choice of services. It was hard to find a bakery. Again room 1708 needs a deeper cleaning of the kitchen. It seems that the bell is dirty as it smells as you enter in the room. Definitely recommend not only to basic do maintenance (cleaning walls for example - we found a mosquito squashed by the toilet from the previous guest) Air-conditioning is equality in bad condition. Strasbourg was above 34 degrees in August, we expected to have some comfort in the room.

We spent 3 days here in a studio apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed for easy meal preparation, only thing was only one.llug for 3 appliances.on the table and a wall with a plug but no where to put the appliance. Bathroom was good, our basin was missing a.plug which did concern us if anything was dropped on the basin it would have been gone. Bed was comforting nice linen and good.pillows best we had during our trip through Europe. We loved having a balcony with chairs and a table, great to enjoy meals outside. One issue is the metal.outdoor furniture...our neighbours kept dragging it around the balcony at all hours, very noisy and not very considerate. We did find the room quite warm despite air-conditioning and alththere is a control you cannot alter the temperature. We did figure out how to tip the door to allow fresh air in(we are not used to European doors that tip) The receptionists are super friendly and helpful.Loved the jars of sweeties and coffee machine at the entrance. They have a small selection of essentials for sale which is handy if you feel.like chocolate or cookies. There are also a few items at the reception to use eg board games,a stair stepper, kids games, nice touch. Supermarket and bakery are a short walk away . Easy to walk to Old Town just down the road and one block to the left and you are into.Old Town. Old Town and many sights just 1.2kms away so easy to get around on foot.Neighbourhood felt safe even at night, streets well-lit. Thank you for a great stay.

It’s a good budget hotel, good for a short stay, the staffs were also helpful enough and friendly and it’s easy to go with car. The hotel room and bed were also clean and tidy. The facility inside the room is good enough for short stay, with a small kitchen (the tap of the sink was a bit loosen in our room). With this price we shouldn’t have any complain (€55 one night for 2 people), but still there are few points I would like to point out. It’s the hottest day during the summer, and unfortunately part of the air condition in the hotel was out of order. Unluckily we were assigned to the room where AC was turned down. From the reviews that I read online, it seems the AC was down since the start of summer, and it’s still not yet fixed which was disappointed, even they have upgraded us into a bigger room with balcony. The underground parking was relatively narrow since we have a SUV, but it is better than other hotels with public parking which are far and expensive. The location is a little far from the main attractions in the old town, which takes around 15-20 mins by walk. I would stay in this hotel again only if they have the similar price of the room next time, otherwise I may find a hotel closer to the centre. P.S. I would recommend spending two nights for exploring the whole Strasbourg, staying one night like us is not quite enough.

When I arrived, I was first in queue to check in. However, there was another guest that needed help, so I allowed their request to be fulfilled. And then, another guest walked in to check-in and because they spoke French, they were served first and got their room keys, etc. Only when all the others were served, then the reception turned to me and said, “Now your turn”. My family and I literally just stood there for a good 10-15 minutes while all these were going on, in French.

I had booked 2 family room (for my family of 6) and was given rooms on 2 different floors - 1 on ground floor and the other on level 8. Because I was given rooms on 2 different floors, I had to shuttle up & down to check on my kids which were at the other room. The lift was slow and needed an access code - so really troublesome just to move around.

When we got to our rooms, I just felt that the overall condition of the rooms were pretty bad. My bathroom sink stopper didn’t work. It could not open hence I could not use the sink there since water will not drain away. The heater in the room did not work either, so had to sleep in a pretty cold room.

The other room was not much better. One of my kids went for a shower, only to find that the soap dispenser is only dispensing water. The rest decided not to bath or shower.

Given how we were treated when we arrived, we also decided not to bother reporting these problems as we don’t think the staff is going to be helpful at all.

Fortunately, it was only for 1 night and all of us couldn’t wait to check out and leave.

We previously had a very good experience at the Adagio Aparthotel at Annecy hence we expected something similar. This was a real...
