Résidence Parme Roche — Hotel in Strasbourg

I lived here for a couple of years. I’m giving one star only because they accepted me in January when no other place would — and for that, I’m truly thankful.

But overall, the experience was very frustrating.

My neighbor once cut off the hot water just because I was showering at 11:50 PM — I still don’t understand how he had access. Several times, we had no hot water for days. The toilets were insanely dirty, worse than what you see in movies — I’m not exaggerating. Washing machines were often used to wash shoes, and they were not clean.

Some floors had no stove or oven, and where they did exist, they were filthy. I saw a homeless person with a dog in the parking once. Security is poor — one time, someone stole clothes from the washing machines. The machines even got stuck sometimes and wouldn’t open.

Also, I had cockroaches in my room for over a year. They would come and go freely, and even though they sent people to “fix” the situation, nothing changed.

The garbage areas are infested with rats — real health risks. Once, they closed the entire kitchen for a month just because of one person’s fault, leaving everyone without access.

Some neighbors were aggressive — when I walked near the windows, they threw heavy objects that could cause serious injury.

The elevators are extremely slow and sometimes out of service.

Yes, it was cheap. But if you have other options, I really recommend looking elsewhere. If you come here, you’ll learn how to survive in harsh conditions — so in that way, it’s not completely bad. I’m just telling the truth after years of...

Je donne mon avis parce que j’en ai marre!!! Cette résidence est à fuir !!! J’y loge depuis près de deux ans, mais c’est un vrai bordel. Les cuisines sont souvent sales. La cour, une vraie déchèterie à ciel ouvert, c’est insalubre, les ordures traînent de partout, les poubelles sont pleines et rarement vidées. Tout récemment, j’ai signalé à plusieurs reprises l’état catastrophique des poubelles avant qu’elles ne soient vidées après plusieurs mois d’attente. Il n’y a pas longtemps, il y’avait eu une coupure d’eau chaude, c’était un vendredi, si je ne me trompe pas. Je l’ai signalé à la nouvelle gestionnaire ( qui est d’ailleurs très réactive et sympathique ), elle a pris en charge le problème dans la foulée et ça a été réglé. Aujourd’hui, samedi en plein hiver, même problème encore, il n’y plus d’eau chaude. J’appelle l’astreinte pour que le problème soit résolu le plus rapidement possible, le gars reçoit mon signalement et me raccroche au nez avant même que je ne termine ce que j’avais à dire.
