This is one of the narrow islands situated in the Ill River at Petite France in Strasbourg. It is named after one of the three women who were part of the government in 1936, Suzanne Lacore (1875-1975). Environs are quaint, part of the annual Christmas Market takes place here as well, it is a neat spot with Petite France worth a quick walk around if spending time in this area of the city.

Coup de cœur 💓 Very popular square in Strasbourg centre where families come picnicking at weekend, where people working in offices are happy to have lunch, where tourists try all points for beautiful pictures, where lovers whisper words of love, where Strasbourg inhabitants play bowls in the shadows of tall trees.
