We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights towards the end of May 2023 and wow, was it a terrible choice! |The only pro is the location. It is very close to the Torcy station where you can take the train to either Paris or Disneyland. You are in Disneyland in less than 30 mins and the station itself is like 5 mins from the hotel.|The hotel itself is in a shopping center so you also have quite a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. ||Otherwise the hotel was terrible: dated look, super small room, quite dirty, noisy area and very poor breakfast choice. |No vegetables, only a few slices of salami and such, some single wrapped cheese blocks, some usual butter and spread varieties, yogurt, cereal, cold hard boiled eggs and some breads. There’s also some fruits (about 3 pears and plums and I think I saw oranges the last day) and then some very not fresh croissant varieties, the kind that come frozen in bags and you just reheat.|I complained about the lack of vegetables or any warm food or any vegetarian options and I was told initially that “there is bread”, followed by the gluten free bread. Then, I was told that there is soy milk too. I was literally shocked at this response and I did not insist on it anymore as it was obvious the girl did not actually comprehend why I was so annoyed. |The coffee is terrible as well, I mean, it doesn't even taste like coffee but very watered down. On the first day we had breakfast a bit later than the other days so the coffee was a bit better than when we were earlier, so I think they literally did not have enough coffee available for all their guests. |And on the second day we had to wait for a table to become available in the breakfast area (which is next to the reception), because they had a larger group that they had to sit together and they also did not have enough tables for all their guests. We did not wait long and they were apologetic and acted fast, but this should not even have been a problem in the first place. And we were not the only ones, several other people after us (and maybe even before?) had to wait as well, some quite some time. ||The room as mentioned was very tiny, so was the bathroom and the shower. But it was just dirty overall as well. Cannot understand why it is scored so well on hygiene. There was dust on the furniture, dirt on the floor, the shower had scum, the curtains and rails were broken. The room we stayed at, #118, also had a “lovely” view of all the dirt and bird remains that were on the plastic canopy outside. |My overall impression is that this is supposed to be a very cheap hotel - however, not actually cheap as we paid 350 euros for 4 nights. The quality is subpar and what you get for the money is not...
Read moreStayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting Disneyland. As this was a spontaneous trip & I booked 3 weeks before, I was looking for hotels that were a short train journey to DL. There was not alot of choice, all the 4star hotels were further out so decided to stay here. I was hesitant to book as TripAdvisor reviews are very poor, however on booking.com the reviews are alot better. Never stayed at a 3star hotel so wasn't sure what to expect, the room was small, we had 2 single beds, they were next to each other, there was no room on the sides of beds to push them further apart if you wanted to do this. There were 2 nightstands on both sides of the beds with a lamp. There was a kettle with tea coffee sachets, a small water bottle with 1 lotus biscuit & 2 glass mugs. There was a tiny cupboard section, a small table with a chair. The bathroom had a walk in shower with glass doors, the shower worked well. There were big mirrors with very good lighting. They supplied shampoo, shower gel, soap & hair dryer. The room was clean & had temperature control, my biggest criticism was that at night is was very noisy & I hardly got any sleep the 2 nights we were there. I am a light sleeper & would wake up everytime there was a noise. When people in the rooms next to you would open the door you can hear it so clearly & it sounds like they are coming into your room. I kept hearing water & flushing sounds, I'm guessing this is the next door rooms using shower & toilet. The first night I was woken up around 2am to hear a woman shouting "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" There was also a pounding sound the second night. I've stayed at alot of hotels & not witnessed noisy nights like this! This was a real downer to the stay. The walls are paper thin!||I would not stay here again due to the...
Read moreMe and partner stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was good apart from the service we received. The receptionist who had the name Steeve was very rude on our arrival. He was on the phone where we arrived so we let him carry on and take the call. He then told us there is a problem with their rooms for us and carried on talking on the phone. When he eventually got off the phone he then proceeded with booking us in. My partner asked if he spoke English as it does say this on the site as spoken languages. He told us yes and we carried on with the booking. He asked for the city tax which we though we had already paid on the website so tried explaining this to him and he just kept cutting us off short in conversation and after taking the money for this suddenly he doesn’t talk English and was just overall rude. We got our card to enter the room and carried on with our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t hear any noise during the nights. The facilities that were advertised for us were all available. Although some of the furniture in the room was damaged like the side tables were burnt with cigarettes. Very comfortable stay and worth what you pay. It’s in a decent location with a small town with shops 2 mins walk away. There is a...
