Kade Tbilisi — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Kade is great example of what Georgian food, can offer you in contemporary Tbilisi. Not ruined by dozens of tourists, this place, offers an authentic taste, balanced with the modern vision of food. The menu, simple but with good option for Khinkali and hot dishes, seasoned with very interesting starter salads. Kade has very good wine cart and what is nice, local beer options. I would say Kade won my heart as very good dinner gathering choice in Tbilisi. The another poin to mention, is the ambience, the nice music, interior and the lights make extra feeling of being in homelike place as if invited by great Geaorgian friends. So I would recommend Kade as very good local cuisine place and unless you are not extremely hungry, you shouldnot approach it. Service personell is on top, they host andd serve you in a very polity, I would say great way which adds extra value to the time spent at Kade. Tijdens een wandeling kwamen wij bij toeval langs dit leuke restaurantje. Bij binnenkomst werden wij vriendelijk begroet. Het restaurant is knus en sfeervol ingericht. We wilden een khinkali proberen. De serveerster was vriendelijk en adviseerde om eerst een lekkere salade te nemen. Een tomaten salade met komkommer, ui en fijn gemalen walnoot was lekker. Daarna de Khinkali met vlees. De serveerster zag ons dit gerecht met mes en vork eten, maar dat was niet de bedoeling, dus ze kwam met een bordje en eigen Khinkali erop om voor te doen hoe het wel gegeten moest worden. Weer wat geleerd. Ze zijn prima, maar machtig dus bestel er niet te veel. Na de lunch afgerekend en fooi gegeven vanwege de vriendelijkheid.
