PIPES Burger Joint — Restaurant in Tbilisi

One of the best burger restaurants in Tbilisi located in Fabrika Hostel, which has a very welcoming, warm and a hip atmosphere if one is looking for it, but if not, it's still a really welcoming place. Pipes Burger Joint has really warm and welcoming staff. The atmosphere and the general aesthetics of the place is very warm and cozy, and as for the food, it's nothing short of great.

The burger portion sizes are appropriate to the price, but most importantly it's very delicious. The patty isn't greasy at all, instead it's very juicy. One bite and juices were all over the plate. The ingredients were fresh, and in general it satiated hunger while also not making you feel heavy at the same time. The fries are really good, quite a hefty amount of it despite it being quite cheap, thick but crunchy at the same time and most importantly salted to perfection. The only issue that I had was with the fried Onion rings. The batter lacked salt, but even then it was decent.

In general if any tourist wants to enjoy a good burger, instead of going to McDonalds or any other fast-food place, you should instead come here and get something absolutely amazing for the same price that you pay for something cheap.

I used to love the Pipes burger close to Rustaveli, so logically I thought this would be a "sure bet". Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered medium cheese burger and rare steakhouse burger. Both arrived with meat on "well done" meaning no real meat flavour and instead of pink we got 50 shades of grey. In order to make sure meat really doesnt taste like that delicious beef I was used to at Pipes, someone marinated it in what seemed to me like soy sauce, so it was extremely salty as well. French fries were ok, buns and other ingredients also fine. Menu seems sensible so that everyone should be able to find his favourite combination. soo…. based in fabrika, you can find this overrated burger joint. staff seems not to care, burgers were well done even though they asked us how we wanted it to be cooked, we ordered fries because it was not mentioned on the menu that you already get fries with your burger, when we found out it was a big hussle to have them remove it from the bill. I can understand that it may be difficult to serve tourists when your english is not very well but to not communicate at all and silently put plates on the table and remove them later is a big turn off. felt ignored even though you pay a lot of money for it. although the burgers were prepared quickly, they did not taste very special. but hey whatever, everyday it’s packed in fabrika so they would not mind to have one...
