Well unfortunately this place was a let down. My group of 4 arrived around 1pm on Tuesday hoping to get some brunch. After choosing our dishes we were told that the whole brunch section of the menu is not available, and we can only have something from breakfast/ sandwiches section. Again some time after, we chose the meals but we got told we can’t add extra bacon to our dishes, and they don’t have any avocado and therefore no dishes that include avocado. 40 minutes after ordering one of us gets his meal. By the time he finishes it (15 minutes later) the rest of us still don’t have our meals. I had to ask the waiter and remind that it’s been 55 minutes since we placed our order. After this they tried bringing the dishes asap and all together we ended up waiting for food for 1 hour. I understand sometimes it can be too busy for them, but 1 hour wait time is something you have to warn the guests about. Despite the waiting, the food was good, I enjoyed my meal, but the bacon was extreeeemly overdone to the point that it was impossible to chew it, without exaggeration it was as hard as a stone and all of us struggled with it. My coffee was good taste wise, but no latte-art on top (of course it doesn’t affect the taste, but it’s an element of presentation a specialty coffee shop usually tries to provide). Overall wasn’t too impressed by the service, our waiter didn’t seem too enthusiastic. P.s. l feel like the place looks different from Instagram/ Google maps pictures, it’s a bit more run down, and didn’t have any tables inside with small square tiles like on photos (maybe they were on reconstruction?). Still looks good but it’s a different aesthetics from...

We visited the cafe in the evening for some dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was nice - almost like a small glass greenhouse.

They were out of most drinks on the menu, so we split a latte. It was small and pretty expensive for the price.

We ordered the Vegetarian Bahn Mi and Chicken Katsu sandwich. Both dishes were easy to eat, but pretty flavorless. The Vegetarian Bahn Mi is not something I would actually consider Bahn Mi, just a vegetarian sandwich. The Katsu was bland, and the fried noodle side was useless - more for the appearance than to actually be eaten. I would have rather not had a side than receive that. On both plates, there was a smear of sauce that must have been mainly for appearance as well, for it was too concentrated and did not pair well with anything else on the plates. If something is more for appearance than to be consumed or added to a dish, do not include it - this is basic culinary arts. Again, all dishes were expensive for what they were.

Our waitress was fine, just delivering and taking empty plates. We hung out for a while, in the mean time we were offered no more service. Upon paying, we noticed a 20% service fee on top of the food. For what? This was very weird and unnecessary, particularly when the service was the bare minimum and the food was bland. We paid, left, but likely would not recommend or return. There is much potential in the cuisine, but altogether a bit of a...

Good: I really liked the food. The best breakfast I had in Tbilisi so far. Cooked and served with style. All ingredients are really high quality. The interior and the building itself is super unique and cool looking. You are getting not only a good food but also a nice experience spending time in a nice looking place. And it’s located in a beautiful park, quiet and very green.

Downsides: Waiters work good and fast no complaints here. But when you come in no one says hello and not even looks at you. Like you are not welcomed here. I was there twice and it was like this both times. Maybe guys just overloaded with work. But it would be nice to hear Hello and Goodbye. When the sun showed from the clouds in became super hot inside. So hot that we had to leave faster. I assume in summer AC is on, but we were visiting the place mid season. I would recommend to seat not on the sunny side if possible.

Please note that the chances to come on weekends and find a free table are average. And I didn’t find a way to book a table in advance. Maybe I’ve missed something.

Nice place overall and I will come back for sure. It would be nice to hear...
