I choose this hotel first because it is listed as baby friendly and the closest to where I was when I arrived in the town. The reception was friendly also. She also greeted my son 😊Personally, the room was baby friendly that I could let my son run around without having the fear of destroying something because there was no glass material decoration standing around. What I found the best was... the Reception's Support at midnight. She responded quickly to contact to emergency pharmacy to find solution for me. The breakfast was perfekt! Love the sortiment. But... the night was really warm and we had only Fan no matter how much I tried (well I should have called the reception tho.). I needed to open the Windows for fresh air. And what I found annoying, they did not tell me in advance that they have own parking lot right behind the building. I did ask literally before I came where I can Park. I got assited instead to a underground public parking house more than 50 meter distance to the hotel. To get there I needed quite a walk with a baby and all the stuff. However, when I reported it to the front desk, the agent was extremely professional and in no time had the hotel technician check it out and she accompanied him in order to translate. So for the room, it was excellent and a unique modern design with really cool lighting features. The bed was more than comfortable and of course everything was spotlessly clean. I would also rate the breakfast buffet as a 5 Star as it was very fresh, very well presented and again nice staff.
If you're arriving by train, it is a very short walk from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and a short walk to the pedestrian mall and the old city. Bielefeld has an over-whelming number of retailers and restaurants.(more than some of the much...
Read moreI came for business and stayed one night. ||It is a simple and straight forward hotel, good to have a rest, nothing more nothing less and they do not advertise different. ||Checkin was quick and easy.||The room was small yet functional. ||There is nothing else but sleeping in this place and that is what they advertise. Other hotels in Bielefeld advertise different but are old and run down; this is quite honestly the best alternative to anything you can find in the city. ||Staff is "straight forward"; which in my terms means they are not particularly polite or nice, but also not impolite but rather efficient. That is in my opinion absolutely ok for this level of Hotel and I would not expect more. ||Breakfast is very good. ||I...
