This is probably one of the worst hotels I have evr stayed in! Being a non-smoker who I didn't like it at all because all of the hotel smelled so badly of smoke fume, including the curtains in the room and all of the stuff here... The street outside the hotel is quite noisy with local people sitting in front of the shops/cafes and chatting loudly. We had to keep the window open all the time because of the bad smell in the room so I slept very badly.||You could call the interior charming if you like flee markets and secon-hand stuff but that awful smell did it form me - I just hated this place. The bathroom needs a heavy renovation. Hadn't seen such amenities in years and certainly did not expect to experience it in Germany. Left me disappointed as we were away on a romantic weekend. Thanks God it was only one night otherwise I would have looked for another hotel. I believe that smokers would find it perfect though as they're not allowed to smoke in the room in so many hotels but cleanliness fans should just stay away...
Read moreWe were staying for about one week on business purpose. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!! The rooms (3rd floor) were surprisingly ok and cleaned daily. But the smell in the narrow stair way was terrible, I can't describe what it smelled like, a mix of cigarettes and dirty activities. Avoid being there during the day, as there is a lot of traffic going on. If you won't see it, you certainly can hear it. Not child friendly, and you have to carry your luggage up yourself the tiny stair way. The reception is none existing after 20.00 pm and before 8.00 am, and nobody spoke English. As we depended on our travel manager for booking we had no other chance than to stay. For anyone who's got the choice, do yourself a favor and go...
Read moreSmall room but this is not a big problem if yuo will not spend too much time in the room and also do not need a desk to work on it.||The service and breakfast were well.||But the smell of cigartettes and the noise were serious problmes : ||Cigartee smell is everywhere. It starts in the hotel entrance and is in the room, in the sheets, in the pillows - everywhere. ||As for the noise, the hotel is small and stairs are made of wood. So when other guests go to their rooms in the night and if they have something to tell each other or if one is too heavy for the woodded stairs, then there is no way to keep...
