I visited this hotel in the summer heat wave in August 2015. I was looking forward to the experience since this is one of the only hotels we could find with air conditioning. Unfortunately, this was the only good thing it had going for it. They falsely advertised they had free wi-fi. They consider free wi-fi a computer in the hotel lobby that you share with all of the other guests. They charge 10 Euro per day for in room wi-fi. Also, they advertised free parking- good luck with that! It means you ride around looking for street parking. The older woman at the front desk was rude and argumentative with us when we tried to talk to her about how they advertised the things they said they had. And forget trying to alter or cancel your reservation, they charge 90% of your reservation if you alter your plans in any way, shape, or form. Several days our room was not cleaned because we did not leave by 9:30 am. The lights in the hallway were not working so we had to try to get in our room in the dark each night. One morning while eating breakfast, there was a leak from the toilet in the room above the breakfast room that sent water all over one of the breakfast tables. The woman in charge of the breakfast room cleaned it up with a dish rag and did not use any kind of bleach to disinfect it!!!! Needless to say, we will never return here and urge you to save your money and find another...
Read moreVisited in the August of 2015. Worst reception attendant you'll ever see in Europe. To be fair, there were two attendants in two shifts. The younger one was professional and decent enough but this is about the middle aged one.
You might be aware that summers are hotter than usual in Europe since last few years where temperature is crossing even 30 degree celsius which is not usual there.
In this summer, cooling system was not working in this hotel and when I asked about the same from her and told her it is hot in the room. Would you believe the kind of response I got? I was told that 'your country might be hot, it's not hot here.' She said exactly these words in her broken English.
I don't know why I did not react on this at that time. Good for her. But this is a clear case of racism.
I also faced problem while claiming the luggage from reception while leaving.
This attitude is something you will not only hate this Hotel for but can also sue it.
Me writing this after two years can tell you the impression it left on me. Please visit there if you really want to remember this...
Read moreThis hotel is located very close to the railway station and the Messe-hall in Frankfurt. The rooms are a bit outdated and smell a bit of cigarettes, even though the hotel is now smoke free. The bathroom was clean, spacious and shower had a good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and there wasn´t any noise in the night time (my room was on 3rd floor) Breakfast was very basic: Coffee, tea, coldcuts, juice, bread, cucumber, paprika, pickeled cucumber, and fruitsalad. Overall this is a good option for anyone travelling for business, but I wouldn´t recommend it for a...
