Sat down around 6pm to order. There was a total of 4 people inside, 2 individuals and 1 table of a couple.

2 tables ordered drinks and the lady took 4 times to get it somewhat right, she forgot my drink and the other table was still waiting for his beer 20 minutes later - it never came, he paid his bill and walked out. Considering the few people inside she seemed overwhelmed, I dare wonder how it would be if it was actually busy. Ordered a baked Camembert to begin and when I was done the server asked what my main was despite having written it down before. After another 10 minutes I was asked what my main course was again, I left without getting a main course after having only had a starter.

On the outset I was truly looking forward to this however the conclusion is that it desperately needs improvement in service.

One could be forgiven to think that language was a barrier but sadly thats not even the case.

I truly hope they manage to sort the service as it has potential to be great. Maybe the server was having a truly bad day but there is no justification for that lack of service with...

This is an authentic German old style restaurant. We came here for lunch and the restaurant was well managed by 1 efficient lady. She sat us down with our requested English menu, informed us that food items were priced €1 more than prices listed on the menu and drinks increased by €0.20. Considering the low prices on the menu, the increased prices were still reasonable. We ordered beef goulash with pasta and pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potatoes and a beer. I wanted an apple juice and she explained that the juice was actually mixed with water. So I declined but appreciated her honesty. She prepared the food and served them too. The beef goulash was tender, pork knuckle huge but somehow the inside was just warm and not hot enough. Nevertheless it was tasty. We particularly liked the potatoes that came with the pork knuckle. Serving sizes were generous. Total bill came up to €26.60 for 2 food items and a beer. We can tell that locals are regulars here. Restaurant is clean with clean restrooms. But there's no...

Rude and appaling treatment. Don't come here if you're a tourist! They'll treat you badly. We arrive and the first thing the waiter does is pointing at our seats, no hello or welcome. She doesn't even give us the menu or remove the dirty dishes from our table. She ignores us. We finally order but she comes back 5 mins later saying she can't find our order. We had ordered literally a few minutes prior with her. She gives us our food but not the forks and spoons. I tell her that. Annoyed, she sighs "I know" and disappears again. Again, I have to catch her attention. She gives me a plate with fork, knife and towel and sends me to the table. What kind of behaviour is this? Am I supposed to do your job? Disgusting! In the mean time the table next to us got the food and several drinks in the matter of minutes. This makes me think: are we treated differently because we are strangers? Terrible. And the food? My plate was cold. There was no water or soft drinks avaible. Run away...

Arrived late into Frankfurt Train station and found this place nearby. It was a little dark and intimidating at night but once we went in, there were groups of locals having a beer and hanging out. We were one of the few tables on a Tuesday night and we ordered a few appetizers and entrees. I got the baked camembert with cranberry sauce and oh my goodness it was so good! Our group loves cheese and this was crispy on the outside, melted softness on the inside and delicious with the cranberry sauce! I had the Hunter Schnitzel and fried to perfection with spaetzle and the mushroom sauce was done well. It had a small restaurant vibe with a bar area and the service was friendly and the pace is a little slow so it’s nice to hang out with friends and have a relaxing meal. Price was good for the portions we received.
