Our all time favorite. It tops for any day meal because it's just outside the Mannheim HBF, for 6.50 Euros you get any dish be it pizza/pasta/salad plus a soft drink. What more do you want? It offers a nice small cozy ambiance, tasty and a big portion of meal. Self-service. Must try is the #49B Alla Mamma al Forno.. the dish in pictures with pasta and eggs. Meals to go is also possible, but I guess they charge a little extra for the mitnehmen packing.

Jedes Gericht, egal ob Pizza, Pasta oder eine andere italienische Spezialität, kostet nur 8,90 Euro – und dazu gibt es ein alkoholfreies Getränk inklusive. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich unschlagbar, besonders in der heutigen Zeit. Trotz der günstigen Preise wird hier nicht an Qualität gespart: Das Essen ist einfach köstlich! Ich war jetzt zweimal dort und wurde jedes Mal aufs Neue überzeugt. Ein besonderes Lob verdient auch das Personal. Trotz des Andrangs behalten die Mitarbeiter stets den Überblick und wissen genau, wer was bestellt hat. Man merkt, dass hier Menschen arbeiten, die wirklich Spaß an ihrem Job haben und sich um ihre Gäste kümmern. La Focaccia liegt nur zwei Gehminuten vom Mannheimer Bahnhof entfernt – also ideal für alle, die eine kurze Pause mit gutem Essen einlegen möchten. Ich kann dieses Lokal wirklich nur jedem empfehlen. Hut ab, mein größter Respekt für so viel Engagement und Leidenschaft. Mehr als fünf Sterne wert!

The pizza is great!!! And the price is 6,40e for any pizza plus you get a free drink with it, so all I can say "this is really worth" and the deal, service(express) and off course staff is brilliant, so this place is one you have to visit if you are in Mannheim. Cheers and enjoy as I definitely did.
