Location is perfect, close to everywhere and metro access is in a few minutes walking distance which is great to enjoy the city. The rooms are comfortable and standard for Adina since it was our 4th stay in Adina hotels. Before our visit to Stuttgart, we stayed twice in Adina Munich and once in Adina Vienna and booked Adina Stuttgart because the service quality was great. However it was a total disappointment this time at Adina Stuttgart. The lady in the reception has an extremely rude and unwelcoming attitude. She never smiled, didn’t say us welcome and didn’t have a small talk such as asking about our trip, how we found the address etc. She first gave us a room a downgrade of our booked room type. After we saw the room and called the reception and asked to change the room she told us she is alone at the reception and can’t help us. We insisted that its OK, we can come down and pick-up the new key and can hand-over the existing key but she didn’t accept. After we told her that we would like to speak to the manager, she accepted and gave us another room, a better one. The housekeeping was terrible. They put the same dirty and dusty towel twice to the bathroom although we took a photo and showed it to the reception and complained sbout the cleaning. Guess what? The housekeeping put the exact dirty towel to the bathroom the following day on purpose. It was my birthday on the third day of our stay and there was no small note, gift or even no verbal greeting from the reception. We asked the business card of the manager and shared our feedback by email including the photos of the dirty towels, the attitude of the reception lady etc. and guess what? No reply from the manager. There is definetely something wrong with Adina Stuttgart and they should definetely take action and should educate the staff and especially the management. I will never stay at Adina...
Read moreNice aparthotel for one week stay in Stuttgart. |The room was a reasonable size, clean & tidy. There was a large comfortable king size bed, sofa, dining table and chairs. Well equipped small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, small cafetería, kettle and small supply of ground coffee, teabags and milk in the fridge. The washer/dryer was extremely useful with clothes washing detergent tablets supplied. There was wardrobe with safe, ironing board & iron. The bathroom had a large shower & plenty of hot water. Nice toiletries and hairdryer bonus for me large magnifying mirror. The towels were a little small. The aircon was quiet & good wi fi. We were on 19th floor so we had a panaromic view of surrounding area. |The staff were lovely and there is a roof terrace on 7th floor where we sat in the evening with a glass of wine. A special shout out to the friendly Australian bartender. |There is breakfast available in the restaurant but we always had our own in the room. There is a large shopping centre nearby with supermarket (just need to note that it closes at 8pm and all day Sunday).|There is a pool ,sauna and gym in the basement which we did not use it but it looked good.|The hotel is a few minutes walk from the U Bahn with easy access to city centre and 40min train ride from the airport on U6. ||The only downside of this hotel is it needs some maintenance in the room. The safe was not securely fixed in the wardrobe. We mentioned this and it was fixed immediately. However the dishwasher was broken and a handle kept on coming off the cutlery drawer which we reported in the middle of our stay but...
Read moreWe were only staying here one night and chose this hotel as it seemed to be in a good location for visiting the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Museums. We had stayed at other Adina Hotels and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, can't say the same about this one. For a start it was difficult to find. Our GPS was giving us the runaround. Finally, we saw a temporary banner displayed indicating the Adina's location. There were roadworks and an excavation site opposite the entrance. At reception we were given instructions on where to locate the parking. Adina had their own allocated car spaces at the adjoining shopping centre's car park, so it was not straightforward.||Finally, we got to our room which was fine, and the beds were quite comfortable, however we noticed there was only half a roll of toilet paper with no other spare in sight and only one bath towel. On calling reception regarding the missing towel, I was told I could pick one up from reception. As it was late, I asked if it could be dropped to our room and was told they would do so, however that never happened.||We declined breakfast as we thought it was far too expensive even though reception did offer a discount of 20 euros each. Apparently, it is cheaper if prebooked online.||On the upside, on checkout we asked for some advice on directions and the receptionist went to some trouble and he emailed a link to us which was...
