Joya Studios — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

So I read the reviews before I booked and I was very excited. The room was nice and clean, and it had all the amenities you could need for a quick stay I suppose. The problem was the lady that I believe owns or runs these rooms. I should have probably taken heed of the reviews I read on Tripadvisor, but you never know until you experience these things yourself. I am not sure if this woman had a bad week, a horrible life or if she is just a mean at heart. She was short with us when we asked for anything, and we actually felt like we were unwelcome. I waited a few months to post this, because I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but since we just came back from Kefalonia after staying at a very welcoming room in the village of Skala, I thought it best to warn people. From end to end these studios and their host Joya are your home away from home. The studios are spotless, the bed exceptionally comfortable, cooking facilities available, full sized fridge, storage space you name it these studios have it. Nothing is too much trouble for the host Joya, she works hard to accommodate all her guests needs, the ambiance of the court yard is a nice touch providing a peaceful outdoor sitting space. These studios are centrally located close to Skala town and the beach everything is within walking distance. We had the best night’s sleep in this accommodation it’s so peaceful and perfect. Εξαιρετικό δωμάτιο! Εργονομικά σχεδιασμένο πολύ καλα με κουζίνα με όλα τα απαραίτητα και ένα βολικό μπάνιο, αλλά όχι για να κάνουν παράλληλα δύο άτομα μπάνιο (Το ξέραμε φυσικά, δεν ήταν κάτι που μας ενόχλησε!), καθιστικό, μεγάλη ντουλάπα, που χωράει πάρα πολλά πράγματα, φωτισμός εξαιρετικός και με πολλές διαφορετικές λειτουργίες για όλα τα γούστα.

Πεντακάθαρο, το οποίο απολαύσαμε ιδιαίτερα! Ίσως το πιο καθαρό δωμάτιο που έχουμε μείνει για την ακρίβεια. Πολύ ευγενική η ιδιοκτήτρια είχε φροντίσει να υπάρχουν μάσκες συσκευασμένες, αντισηπτικό, δύο πακέτα καλωσορίσματος με παστέλι, μαντολάτο και καραμελωμενα ξηροκαρπια τα οποία ήταν πολύ νόστιμα. Πριν την αποχώρησή μας έδωσε και ένα μπουκάλι τοπικό κρασί!
