LUX&EASY - Acropolis Suites — Hotel in Athens

Our family of 3 stayed here in 2 different room type as we went to Santorini in between. The property provides lockers for storage which works well for us since this is our last stop after a 2+ weeks vacation. Do not be deceived by the neighborhood , it may not be the most prime and squeaky clean area but we do feel safe during our stay. It is probably about 10-12 mins walk to the center of Athens and Acropolis. On the day of check in , they will send you an access code to the property and the assigned room. We were in #31 first , and #22 after our return from Santorini. The first unit was bigger and fits 3 of us and our big luggages perfectly. However , the bathroom basin area is a tad too small to accommodate the needed necessities for our daily use. The unit is also relatively quiet and allow us to sleep well at night. The second unit is slightly smaller so accommodating 3 big luggages is a problem. However , it comes with a larger space in the bathroom and basin top which allows us to put all our daily essentials. What is disturbing is the noise in this unit due to the layout and orientation. Whenever a car sped pass , the window grille vibrates and generate a lot of noise. The situation worsen at night when activities slow down. We highlighted this to the property manager (Ms Mahdi) who was very helpful but she could only offer to swap a similar unit on the upper floor for us which we thought may not help much. We thus have to endure our last 2 nights in Athens without much peaceful sleep. What I thought was missing and could be helpful is to install a safe box in every unit for the convenience of the guests. There is no washer/dryer in the units but laundromats are available in the vicinity. Kitchen utensils and cooking facilities are sufficient for some light cooking. We stayed 5 nights in the ground floor garden apartment, with jacuzzi. ||The apartment is contemporary and very clean. If we requested something, staff were helpful and provided things. ||There’s a Nespresso coffee machine; the shower has good pressure and there’s two TV’s. Good lighting throughout. ||There’s a small gym in the basement. Good secure doors throughout. ||There’s a few good local restaurants close by. ||Short walk into the centre of Athens. ||However… ||There are two very very busy roads at each end of the road where the apartment is, which are very noisy at all hours. The short walk into Athens is a bit difficult with the busy roads. ||The immediate area / vicinity is somewhat rundown, however, the apartments are the opposite, and we did felt safe whilst walking around. ||The rear garden area is very overlooked by other apartments, so using the jacuzzi is slightly strange. More screening eg a tree or several trees, would be a good addition. They may also help with the road noise.||Kitchen items were limited, eg only one bowl! ||We had a serious issue with the apartment immediately above with their smoking habits which the complex apologised for. This was outside their control but annoying. ||They asked us the pay c £50 for a few extra hours before we had to depart for our flight… although the apartment wasn’t booked by anyone else! So we used their lockers in the basement to store our luggage. ||But is this value for money? The answer is yes,...

Beautiful, modern hotel near Athens centre. We stayed here for 5 nights! The rooms are clean, light and spacious! Kitchen has everything you need in it. Nice balcony with chairs to sit out and relax in! There is a tablet in each room with lots of recommendations of things to do in Athens and to reserve the rooftop jacuzzi also know the using the jacuzzi is €60 for a three our slot. There is some chairs and tables up there if you just want to sit which are free to access.||Be aware that house keeping is not always available due to it being apartments but staff are easy to contact on WhatsApp and respond very quickly! Only slight issue they only cleaned our room on the second day which meant I had to ask for clean towels, etc as we were staying 5 nights. ||There are also some lovely bars and restaurants a 2 minute walk from the hotel if you don’t want to go into Athens centre.||Overall though this is a wonderful hotel, in a great location and we would...
