There are meals that impress — and there are meals that quietly redefine your understanding of flavor. Garum belongs firmly to the latter category. This is not simply a restaurant; it is a culinary philosophy distilled into dishes that pay reverence to an ancient ingredient — garum, the fermented fish sauce of antiquity — reborn here through modern craftsmanship and almost obsessive precision. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, every element studied and refined. The entire tasting sequence revolves around different interpretations of their own garum, matured for nearly four months under perfectly controlled conditions. Each course becomes a dialogue between depth and delicacy — where umami is not shouted, but whispered with conviction. The cooking technique throughout is remarkable: clean, confident, and exacting. Flavors carry clarity and restraint, the seasoning is intelligent, and the balance between acidity, salinity, and fat is handled with rare discipline. If there is one note for the future, it is that the next menu could benefit from moments of heightened intensity — small peaks of power — without sacrificing the remarkable equilibrium that defines Garum today. In a city increasingly confident in its culinary identity, Garum stands out as one of the most thoughtful and quietly ambitious kitchens. A visit here is not optional; it is essential for anyone who believes that taste can still surprise!

New favourite place in town. We visited on our anniversary. The warmest environment, minimal with super kind staff. Christos and Themis have created a gem within the heart of culinary capital. The dumplings, the dim sam, the bao, crispy pork and the sticky rice rizogalo with mango are my personal favourites. Christos Glossidis and the team have ingeniously come up with possibly the yummiest Greek take on Asian dishes. Godspeed from Panos & Nancy.

"A delightful dining experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere — this restaurant feels like enjoying a home-cooked meal, with exceptional dishes and attentive, knowledgeable staff. I’ll definitely be returning soon."

An experience that transcends just eating at a restaurant — it’s a journey of flavors, culture, and creativity. The perfect fusion of Asian and Greek cuisine, beautifully balanced in every dish. Each plate feels thoughtfully crafted, combining the warmth of Mediterranean ingredients with the boldness of Asian techniques. From the presentation to the atmosphere, everything comes together seamlessly, making it not just a meal, but a memorable experience that lingers long...
