Plexi Space — Hotel in Athens

We chose this hotel knowing it’s located outside the city center. Our priority was to find a modern place with a pool at a reasonable price, and this one seemed to fit the bill.

Starting with the positives: The hotel is new, stylish, clean, and well-maintained. The room was tastefully designed, the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were plush, and the towels were soft and high quality. Service throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. The pool, while not large, was pleasant and added to the experience.

However, there were a few disappointments: The room we received was significantly smaller and different in layout from the photos we had seen online. It lacked basic conveniences like a towel rack near the shower, which made using the bathroom a bit awkward. Also, the toilet paper was extremely rough—something that felt out of place in a hotel of this standard.

The biggest drawback was the location. The hotel is in an area that feels more industrial-residential, with a mix of nightclubs and adult stores nearby. As Israeli guests, we also felt somewhat uncomfortable due to visible anti-Israel sentiment in the surrounding neighborhood, including graffiti and Palestinian flags on balconies near local cafes.

Overall, the hotel itself offers a comfortable and modern stay with good service. But be aware of the room size, the lack of certain amenities, and the atmosphere of the surrounding area...

I stayed 5 nights at this Plexi space from 24 may to 28 May 2024! This is one of the best accomodations i have ever stayed in Europe! Great value for money, the building amd art deco is very tastefully done. The room is 5 star quality, place smells great from the moment you enter. The ceilings are high and its super spacious and so new! Never disapoints. Everything about this accomodation is fantastic. The hosts take great care of you, especially Elena Natsiopoulou, she is amazing and so is George. They checked in with me, and asked if i needed anything at all for my stay. Very family like, and so caring amd kind. I arrived early but they managed to get me the room by noon, room was spic and span! It was like W hotel! I was so happy i made this choice to stay here! The hotel’s rooftop is awesome, with a nice pool and views. My room was just the perfect size, really comfy, and quiet, with modern decor that made it feel nice and cozy. The bed and pillows were so comfy too!

Location-wise, it’s perfect. All the main attractions are super close, whether you're into exploring the history or just soaking in the local vibes. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Everything is just a short walk or drive away.
