Hotel Nefeli — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. We had a room on the ground floor in a shady place and away from the busy main street, which was very nice. The room was small, but it was plenty enough for a night's sleep, especially because it was clean. The room has air conditioning, a very spacious refrigerator, the bed was just big, a central TV with a USB connection. The bathroom has functional ventilation, with space for storing things, there is no hair dryer. The room and bathroom are modernly equipped. It is cleaned every day. The lady owner was very pleasant and if we needed anything, she willingly satisfy us, e.g. from the quick morning preparation of the room, when we arrived at the hotel in the morning tired and we didn't have to wait until the afternoon when the room was available, up to two sheets for covering, as we are used to having our own to cover :) At the hotel, it is possible to borrow a beach umbrella that people have left here. We booked Hotel Nefeli having looked for a beach and hotel for a 4 day gap before a weeks villa holiday in Sivota for us and our 2 teenage kids. ||We all loved Hotel Nefeli for the simple, homely ambiance, the spotlessly clean rooms, the smart wood furniture, the painted wood shutters, and the nice new bathrooms. ||The owners, Georgia and family were delightful. They made us feel so welcome and were also very careful with covid precautions (review written during the pandemic). ||Finally the location is just great. It’s at the start of the buzzing area of great restaurants & shops but felt peaceful & quiet. It doesn’t have a pool but within 3-4 minutes we were on the amazing Agios beach and within a 15/20 min energising hike (you can instead take a 5 min boat ride) we were on the beautiful Milos beach. As Agios is lagoon like and Milos has more waves this was also a perfect combination that satisfied everyone. ||We liked Agios, hotel Nefeli and its family owners so much that these 4 days “stole the show” of our entire holiday! Mixed feelings…so little improvements would make a huge difference.

Nefeli Hotel is located in Agios Nikitas, probably the best village in Lefkada, has its own beach and you cand walk or rake a boat (4€) to Milos Beach.

It’s a family owned business, and it has it’s downsides, they cheap out to the breakfast- with is a joke for 4€, the cofee is filter americano, processed meat, little veggies - Not worth it. When I checked in they said the kid eats for free, when I checked out they made me pay 😆. Did not even argue with them…

You cand get decent coffe acorss the street and a italian girl has a shop wirh pastry up the steeet.

The Hotel on the other side of the street has a pool and you can go there for a small fee.
