Nous venons de passer un séjour au Plakias Riviera et franchement, difficile de faire mieux ! Parlons d’abord d’Elena : le genre d’hôtesse qui mérite une médaille olympique de la gentillesse (et je pèse mes mots !). Toujours un sourire, toujours prête à rendre service, à veiller à ce qu’on ne manque de rien… Chaque jour, une petite attention dans l’appartement : on a failli devenir accro au concept ! Et puis, il y a Alex, le roi des bons plans ! Grâce à ses conseils avisés, on a découvert des coins magnifiques (et du raki local, mais chuuut…). Bref, la soirée passée en leur compagnie était tellement sympa qu’on aurait voulu la rallonger de quelques heures… ou jours. L’appart ? Franchement, c’est le grand luxe du bord de mer ! Deux chambres nickel, chacune avec sa propre salle de bains – donc zéro crêpage de chignon le matin pour la douche (et puis, avec les produits fournis et les serviettes toutes douces, on aurait presque envie d’y passer la journée). L’air conditionné fonctionne tellement bien qu’on oublie qu’on est en Crète, et le frigo… ah, le frigo ! Il est immense, avec un compartiment surgélateur parfait pour stocker glaces, glaçons… et pourquoi pas quelques souvenirs liquides du coin. Vraiment, tout y est : confort, espace, équipement… Côté pratique : plage, commerces, restos… Tout est à 3 minutes à pied ! Franchement, vous pouvez oublier la voiture (et le stress du parking), ici tout est à portée de tongs ! Si vous cherchez un endroit où on se sent (presque) mieux qu’à la maison, avec des hôtes en or… foncez au Plakias Riviera !

Location perfetta a solo 1 minuto a piedi dal “centro” di Plakias e a massimo 20 minuti da diverse spiagge. Ottima base per visitare più luoghi nei dintorni. Siamo stati accolti da Elena, che con la sua organizzazione impeccabile ci ha subito messi a nostro agio. Il suo motto: All you need 🏝️!! Suo marito Alex ci ha dato i migliori consigli su cosa vedere e dove mangiare, come la spiaggia accanto a Preveli (raggiungibile con una breve camminata) o la splendida Souda, frequentata più da locali che da turisti. Una sera ci hanno fatto assaporare la vera ospitalità greca offrendoci un ottimo raki (o meglio, tsikudià). Il nostro appartamento era un ampio bilocale, con cucina abitabile separata dalla camera da letto. La cucina era ben attrezzata e c’era persino la lavatrice. Se manca qualcosa, basta chiedere a Elena: ha un “magazzino” in stile Mary Poppins! Una menzione speciale va al letto, davvero comodissimo: abbiamo dormito come bambini. Che bella vacanza, Elena & Alex… so lovely! A presto!

We stayed with Elena and Alexandros. Our appartement (Elena) is very good located in the city and very close to the beach and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and has all comfort. Elena is always in the neighborhood to answer any questions we have or give us advise on what to visit.

This is probably the most amazing appartment we ever stayed in. Every detail is carefully thought through and Elena and Alexandros are the mosy terrific hosts in Crete. The quality of the interior, from the mattresses to the windows and the Cretan snack that's ready upon arrival, everything is 5*+. In fact, we documented several ideas for our own interior design back home. The place is located at a creek, which sounds like you're sleeping directly by the sea. No mosquitos though, which is amazing. The beach is very close but we took the car and went to Ammoudaki 5 minutes away because the kids preferred the waves there. Everything in Plakias seems to have been built in 2019/2020, so quality is top notch for every type of tourist. Plakias is windy in summer. We stayed three weeks at Elena and Alexis in their nice rooms with our daughter. Elena and Alexis are so friendly and very hospitable. It was a pleasure to meet them and we enjoyed every day. They helped us to get to the dentist because of some tooth problems of our daughter and gave us advice in every kind of situation (e.g. getting the right herbs in their garden, drinking the right raki ... ;-)) At all we recommend Plakias Riviera as a perfect location for staying in Plakias. Our family appartment was very clean and everything was nicely furnished. A perfect stay in special Corona days at the most exciting place on Crete. We were very happy to meet them and we will come back. Ariane, Lea...

We stayed in the 'Elena' apartment for 8 days during September 2022 . Firstly the owners Elena and Alexandros are 2 of the nicest most helpful people you could ever wish to meet . They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a welcoming and stress free experience . The 2 bedroom accomodation was superb - extremely comfortable beds , well equipped and very clean . The location is very tranquil and the gardens / pool are fabulous - all beautifully kept by Alex . We will definitely be looking to book next year for a longer duration . Efharisto...
