Kalypso Gouvia Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura una settimana a fine agosto. Per cominciare la struttura è collocata a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, posizione perfetta, che permette di dormire sonni tranquilli. Le camere hanno tv, phon, e aria condizionata, oltre a piastre elettriche e tutto il necessario x cucinare. Inoltre sono dotate di una "verada" dove e' possibile consumare i pasti. La struttura e' carina, nulla fi partivolare ma e' tenuta bene. Sono rimasta sorpresa in particolar modo dalla pulizia di tutti gli ambienti. Camera, veranda e piscina vengono pulite BENE tutti i giorni. Gli asciugamani sono cambiati una volta al giorno e le lenzuola una a settimana. Un appunto in particolare lo devo fare ad Antonis, che insieme alla moglie, gestisce la struttura. Sono entrambi gentilissimi e super disponibili ma due episodi mi sono rimasti particolarmente impressi. Il primo giorno appena arrivati ci siamo accorti che le prese di corrente della struttura sono a 2 e non a 3 spinotti come quella del carica del nostro laptop. Abbiamo quindi chiesto ad Antonis dove potevamo comprare un adattatore e lui ci ha gentilmente prestato il carica del suo computer, dicendoci che avremmo potuto usarlo per tutto il tempo del soggiorno. La sera successiva poi gli abbiamo chiesto di consigliarci un posto carino dove andare a mangiare. Lui ci ha risposto che era meglio prenotare poiché rischiavamo di arrivare e trovare pieno. Ha infatti chiamato 2 diversi ristoranti risultati pieni. ha provato con un terzo, che finalmente è risultato libero ma dato che è suo dire si trovava di una brutta strada completamente buia è montato sul suo motorino e ci ha accompagnati, nonostante fossero le 21:15 e la moglie gli avesse fatto presente che era praticamente pronta la cena. Insomma neanche in alberghi stellati ho trovato tanta gentilezza e disponibilità quanta sono stati in grado...

We stayed here x1 week in early - mid sept as a couples holiday. Great location in Gouvia yes you hear a little traffic noise but you are positioned on the correct side of the road for the 'strip', marina etc. Lovely clean and airy apartments very small complex but the management and set up / order is first class by the owner and his wife. Pool is immaculate and the daily cleaning service for rooms, towel changes is spot on. I really cannot fault this venue and the facilities. Second time returning to Kalypso, Antonis & his wife are so lovely & welcoming, everywhere is kept clean & up to a high standard. Apartments are great, nothing bad to say about them. The pool is constantly checked & kept clean daily. My 5 year old absolutely loves it & the owners too. Lovely & quiet with beautiful views & surroundings. Only downside is the weight I would’ve gained once the holiday is over as waking up to the smell of the bakery on the main road calls...
