Aletri — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

In our 7 days in Corfu this was the only restaurant that we have eaten at twice! We had the chance to taste fish dishes, meat grills mezes, appetisers and house wine and they were all amazing. Prices are also much reasonable than the places we have eaten at and not as good as here. Atmosphere is great with tasteful decoration. Service was fast and staff were really friendly. If you are into mezes “bouyiourdi”(baked feta in spicy tomato sauce) is a must!. They also had creamy grouper dish as the fish of the day which is very unusual as other places are stuck with seabass...

Επισκεφθήκαμε το κατάστημα με θετική διάθεση, γνωρίζοντας ότι είχε συγκεκριμένη κουζίνα, όμως αφού καθίσαμε και παραγγείλαμε τα ποτά μας, ενημερωθήκαμε ότι είχε αλλάξει εντελώς το μενού. Παρόλα αυτά, επιλέξαμε να στηρίξουμε το μαγαζί. Δυστυχώς, τα πιάτα ήταν υπερκοστολογημένα για τη γεύση και την ποιότητα που προσέφεραν.

Παρ’ όλα αυτά, επιλέξαμε να πληρώσουμε χωρίς παράπονο και να αποχωρήσουμε. Όταν ζητήσαμε τον λογαριασμό, ο σερβιτόρος μάς ρώτησε αν θέλουμε να μας κεράσουν γλυκό, λέγοντας μάλιστα ότι θα ήταν "έκπληξη". Δεχτήκαμε, ρωτώντας τι περιέχει, αλλά η απάντηση ήταν απλώς "θα δείτε".

Το γλυκό που ήρθε ήταν εκμέκ, γεμάτο σαντιγί και ΠΟΛΛΗ κανέλα – στην οποία έχω αλλεργία. Δεν διαμαρτυρηθήκαμε γιατί δεν είχαμε ζητήσει κάτι συγκεκριμένο, και ο σύζυγός μου το έφαγε μόνος του. Όμως, η απόλυτη έκπληξη ήρθε με τον λογαριασμό, όπου διαπιστώσαμε πως το "κερασμένο γλυκό-έκπληξη" μάς χρεώθηκε 8,50€ (!).

Πρόκειται για παρωχημένη, παραπλανητική και απαράδεκτη στρατηγική, η οποία μάς άφησε με πικρή γεύση — κυριολεκτικά και μεταφορικά. Δεν πρόκειται να ξαναεπισκεφθούμε το κατάστημα και φυσικά το "κερασμένο" γλυκό αποτέλεσε το μοναδικό φιλοδώρημα που άφησαν από εμάς: αυτό που...

Das Aletri ist ein tolles modernes und stilvolles Lokal in Gouvia.

Da wir während unseres Aufenthalts eine Woche lang bei jedem Restaurantbesuch den Tzatziki testeten, kann zumindest ich behaupten: Hier gab es den besten! Sehr intensiver Geschmack mit ordentlicher Knoblauchnote. Sicherlich nicht für jeden etwas, für mich aber schon. Die gepickelten Gurkenscheiben auf dem Tzatziki habe ich so noch nirgendwo sonst erlebt, aber auch das harmonierte gut!

Die restlichen Gerichte waren auch allesamt einwandfrei (wir teilten uns diverse andere kleine Speisen) und sie wurden stets sehr ansprechend serviert (allein schon der Salat in der Holzschüssel machte richtig was her).

Eine kleine Besonderheit gibt es hier: Ähnlich wie in Italien zahlt man hier eine kleine Gebühr (3 Euro) für das Gedeck - dafür aber wird man gleich zu Beginn mit einem Gruß aus der Küche verwöhnt. Wir erhielten köstliches, lauwarmes, hausgemachtes Brot mit einer Oliven- und einer Tomatenpaste sowie Olivenöl mit Kräutern.
